Not prepared...
Seems Aion was not really ready for launch...
• The website will not open half the time when you browse to it.
• Several people are complaining about not being able download and install the game.
• Several people are complaining they cannot get into the game without it crashing with specific errors
• People are crashing in the game in random places within the game and then not able to login to that character again becuase it will crash immediate.
And the response from the tech team? .....
Yep...not ready for the onslaught...

I honestly cant say i believe that. Im currently stationed in Afghanistan with CRAP internet. I had zero problems logging into the websight, changing my password (forgot it, havent used it since launch) and installing the game over the course of 4 nights downloading. Installed beautifully, logged right in. Except for the insane ping (2k or so) because of the connectiion, im actually enjoying the game again.
Tens of thousands have no problems

Are we talking about Aion EU or NA? I think EU is a patch behind NA but so far I never crashed or anything.
If you are looking to help all these ten's of thousands of people out, tell them to restart their computer.
Seriously. The free to play crowd are the same people that install the game with itunes, 3 torrents, and WoW running in the background, and they haven't restarted their computer in 9 days. Then when something goes wrong they start mashing the patch now button and shutting down the install client halfway though 5 times because of the 4 gigs of crap malware they have running in the background that has their whole system bottlenecked.

On the North American server......not a problem...at all.Web sites fine...game's fine..and I've put some serious gametime into the new server.

I personally didn't have any issues going to website, creating account, dowloading or installing the game. I haven't had any issues with logging in. Game is working pretty stable for me.
Of course I don't have 3 torrents, itunes and Rift running in the background.
PM before you report at least or you could just block.
My son and I installed it Friday and played on and off most of all day yesterday without a single problem.
Death is nothing to us, since when we are, Death has not come, and when death has come, we are not.
I just find this interesting to be honest.
I would hope if a game was not ready for an onslaught of players... and supposedly had issues... those complaining would number more than "several".
cheat , chat spamm with gold seller

The Block option does wonders to clear up chat. It's usually only 2 or 3 people spamming like that at a time. I also block any e-mails I get from gold sellers.
I feel you though, I just think their chat windows are a little "ugh" one of the weaker points in the UI for me.

i never had a problem either. everything worked just fine as the gmae did prior from going f2p.

I've not had any issues myself accessing the ncsoft site and downloading the ncsoft launcher and installing Aion. Only issue I AM having is a video card driver issue I think, but I don't really feel like going through the older drivers till I find one that solves the issue for me (though I don't think I really need to go back that far).
