I sit on a man's back, choking him and making him carry me, and yet assure myself and others that I am very sorry for him and wish to ease his lot by all possible means - except by getting off his back.

To be honest, no MMO really has endgame before the launch. Endgame usually starts rolling in 3-6 months down the road with patches. A new dungeon, a new raid.
However, that being said; If I believed the hype of a game before the launch, then everygame would be the next big game. All I know is, the bigger the hype, the bigger the dissapointment when it doesn't live up to what people have built up in their minds.
Haha.
That Guild Wars 2 login screen knocked up my wife. Must be the second coming!

I didn't buy SWOTOR hype because I looked into the game and didn't find any articles that said 'we're changing how quests work!' and never believe anything until I see footage of it. I was genuinely interested in SWOR until I saw a lengthy gameplay video. Voice acting alone was not enough for me to say 'this is a new mmorpg'.
I am interested in TSW but still no real information about the 'rest of the game'. Sure they've showed us a couple of zones and walked us through some towns but apart from the awesome puzzle elements and classless system - which is completely negated by dungeons - don't wanna play a tank? too bad because you need one to tank the boss while dps spank and healer healing the tank. I don't know anything about how I am going to play for the other hundreds of hours I'm in the game for. Solving mysteries for my group? Will I really care or will I just click accept without a glance?
GW2 is something I've lowered my expectations about. I understand where its faults lie - dynamic events can only go so far. Story quests sound a little weak compared to the rest of the world. However I know and have seen the activites I will be playing for hundreds of hours and this is very important. I know what to expect from GW2. That's the main difference.
Play for fun. Play to win. Play for perfection. Play with friends. Play in another world. Why do you play?
