Does anyone know a good MMORPG with good PvP that is client based?

Preferably in the 10-12$ a month range (Lower or free is good too)

    Im pretty sure its not the best PvP mmorpg ever. There is a thread here with 25+ reasons why its not. Thats just your opinion that its the "best". If you want to say "ever" then I would have to say UO WAS the best ever. The old UO outshines the current RYL 10 fold imo.

    I recommend Dark Age of Camelot and joining a PvP server. There is also Lineage 2 and I have seen client downloads for that also. Just go to NCsofts webpage. Many people think Lineage 2 is the best PvP currently, I have yet to try it out though.

    i wud also suggest ryl, its an easy game to get into (in my opinion) and dus have one of the best pvp's around, atm i wud say best, as long as your a high lvl or a sorceror :P its very fast paced so if u hav a bad computer or internet connection then youll get owned alot, and is defo a downloadable client game, can get started straight away

    ....So if i make a thread that says UO isnt good, and i have 25 reasons to why its not. That would make UO not the best? He said its the best...and you said that its just his opinion, then you come back saying UO was the best...hypocrit?

    I stated it as my opinion. RYL has many flaws before it can be the best at anything. As it stands right now I dont believe any MMORPG is the best. I believe an MMORPG will be the best for a given person, but not the best over all. Also at the end of my sentence I added "IMO" which means, in my opinion. I did not attempt to state anything as a fact. Im also not saying that RYL sucks, it does to me. But what does that mean? Last I was on the first city was BOOMING. So it means it must be good for ALOT of people.

    Just to add one more thing, in your quote I dont appreciate how you removed the part where I said "imo". Please dont do that in the future. Cutting out parts of a post to make a point that had no need of being made is just... well... lame.

    Why not try the Saga of Ryzom two week free trial.  Its a great game, but not for everyone, makesure you get off the newbie islands before you decide tho :)

    lol, saga of ryzom was probably the worst game i ever tried, "IMO". Ryl doesnt look all that good either though i havent tried it yet. lineage 2 sucks, there is no denying that. i cant really say that there is a "Best" game for pvp, but the one i had the best time with was SWG, mostly because i could choose when and where i wanted to pvp and if i didnt want to i didnt have to be involved. but if you want to wait a bit i would give dark and light a try, it sounds like its going to have a promising open pvp style combat.

    Fair enough you didnt like it, its not for everyone as I said.  Everyone has their own views and thats allowed, I cant argue with that :)

    But Saga of Ryzom is enjoyed by a lot of people, it has one of the most advanced creature AI, which makes the entire environment very believable.  Great graphics and sound, brilliant community and support.  Good RP and a nice open leveling system, mix that in with great lore and cool events, RP, PVP and invasion events where hundreds and thousands of creatures/NPCs invade the lands.

    It also has outposts and Ryzom Ring out soon, which will allow for making your own areas, creating your own invasions and events.

    It isnt for everyone, it has some weaknesses I'll admit but it has caught the heart of a lot of people.  Theres no harm with trying the free trial and seeing for yourself, I cant say much more than that.
