What types of servers will TERA EU have?

Really hoping for roleplay servers.. Or even ones that will be made unoficcial RP servers.

So far it's only PvE and PvP (non RP). Personally I also hope for some RP server

    Really annoyed at that >.<

I've pre-ordered the game, is it possible for me to get a refund after I've put my key into my tera account?

Wanting to get the NA version now

PvP: You can be attacked anywhere at any time by any player, and vice versa.
PvE: You have to activate an ability that switches PvP on.

If you've ever played WoW, it's almost exactly like that.

Also, no RP servers in EU. Frogster can't support it.

    Playing: WF
Played: WoW, GW2, L2, WAR, AoC, DnL (2005), GW, LotRO, EQ2, TOR, CoH (RIP), STO, TSW, TERA, EVE, ESO, BDO
Tried: EQ, UO, AO, EnB, TCoS, Fury, Ryzom, EU, DDO, TR, RF, CO, Aion, VG, DN, Vindictus, AA

Unless they changed it, you still need to activate Outlaw to kill someone in Open World PvP.  The only difference is that in PvE servers you can only activate Outlaw at 60, whereas in PvP you can activate it as soon as you get it (level 11).

The only real difference between PvE and PvP servers is that there will be more people engaging in Open World PvP, which is why the PvP servers are more populated then the PvE.

Open World PvP is extremely fun in Tera unlike most MMOs where the Open World PvP is jut a glorified gankfest.

I would very much appreciate some confirmation on this

As far as i know they still figure it out with the PVE Server part.

Guild VS Guild is still not decided on PVE Servers, and as far as i am aware the outlaw skill is deactivated on PVE servers. Which means you couldn't even mutual go "PVP" mode and attack each other outside from duel or deathmatch.

Currently TERA PVP system is a huge open world gankfest.

When you go outlaw your name get's red, you can kill without penalty low levels, only your name stays to be red for some hours.

But a red name means nothing besides being able to be attacked anytime (which players can do anyway if they wish by going red themselves due to outlaw skill).

You can still enter safezones, trade with npcs etc.

Going outlaw in TERA means nothing more than enabling to hit other players, this is a switch nevessary else you would  hit players you do not intent to since there is no fix target. Beeing "red" or "outlaw" is just a dumb attempt of westernization because the skill is merely a force attack switch not about beeing actually "outlaw".

And even the PVP system isn't fix yet for PVP Servers. This much is certain: Outlaw lvl11 attack anyone. Costs for going outlaw or declaring Guild VS Guild are not confirmed yet. During Closed beta they have been merely "disabled" - for the beta.

PVP / PVe Server rules here are different than in Korea and Japan due to "Westernization".
