open beta. to wipe or not to wipe?

Pretty sure I read somewhere that they will not be wiping characters of the open beta..

But I just read on the eu/uk web page that they will wipe ready for early character creation.

So which is correct ?

    For the NA version there is no wipe after OBT, while there is a wipe after OBT in EU.

    The level cap during open beta will be at level 32. Everyone is allowed to create 2 characters on each server. All characters will be deleted at the end of the open beta to prepare the servers for the pre character creation (name reservation) and head start for pre-order customers.

    Yes thats whay I read. Makes sense. :( not so hyped about OBT now as I dont like to replay that early on.

    My understanding is that "early" character creation, as in ones from the first several betas, will be wiped.  But once the preorder options came up, they said that those who preorder and are in the betas after that point will be able to keep their characters through release.

    For everything they are sharing EME & Frogster sure are confusing people by having two separate methods. Others here are spot on:

    NA - Characters kept after 4/13

    EU - Characters kept after 4/26

    Just not worth my time anymore.

     NA Open Beta looks to only allow one character per server.  For those that preordered I would assume they already made that toon on the 13th or shortly after.

    Edit: If EME is saying they may incude more for preorders after the 19th that would be great.

     I see the reason for one character since they are keeping everyone's character past launch regardless of purchase.  It still stinks for those that like alts or haven't decided on a main. 

    Just not worth my time anymore.
