What about end game PvP content?

First of all, I'm really enjoying what i'm seeing about the game, and allready bought the game, can't wait for Beta Weekend next week.
But I have a question, I come from Warhammer where we had some nice progression at end game PvP with Renown/Glory levels, and It doesn't seems that GW 2 has it. And it seems that gear won't be very important at PvP.
So, my doubt is, the WvW part of the game, will we have some kind of progression?
I do love the game!! Just worried about end game content

If your server is good enough, soon you'll be facing the other best servers out there for some insane PvP. For some, becoming known as the best won't be enough, but that's ok, you can transfer off my server.
As far as personal progressions, there will be achievements and things like that... hard to get armor sets, etc. Goals that won't break the game but will still be a challenge. And, of course, there's simply having fun.

Again with this endgame stuff. The game isn't about endgame.
There will be progression, but it's not a gear grind (you won't be grinding renown ranks for PvP armor). What you can unlock, however, is better looking gear and gear with stats that fit more inline with whatever build you're playing with. The insentive is more along the lines of customization, achievements, and server buffs. Much less so on having better gear than the guy next to you.
Don't see why you'd be worried, the game is buy to play so if you get tired of the "content" just.......stop playing.
