I see a lot of people get answered on twitter, so I guess it is usual for them to target just you.
Anyway, as mentioned (on twitter) the all important blog post would be out by the latest today. That will hopefully let us know what is playable. They have mentioned (also on twitter), that they may decide to hold back some of the starting areas as they don't want to reveal too much before launch.
I'd imagine that this first 'big' beta weekend will focus on making sure server stability is locked down with a very similar version of the client as the previous weekends. That's what I'd prioritse to start with anyway.
I'd expect this first one to be pretty rocky in that department, so I hope everyone is expecting it. If it's not then even better but I wouldn't keep our hopes up for a smooth weekend at this stage. The amount of people trying to access the game will be massive compared to the other weekends.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
FWIW: the most recent Gameinformer has a pretty detailed GW2 article, clearly comprised of recent exclusive beta access...and it's all about the sylvari and their early personal story. Take that for what you will.
as a lvl 1 of any race, can you travel to the starting zones of the other races in order to lvl there? For example, as an Asura, would I be able to travel over to the Norn starting zone and lvl there?

I think You need to finish the introduction bit first which takes just few minutes. Then You can use protal in city to go to other hubs/Mists.

Even if sylvari and asura available I won't play them. I want to be surprised at launch.
You're more patient than I. If I see a sylvari I'm darting at it faster than a frog's tongue at a fly in July.

I still cant decide what I want to roll for my main :-( Thoughts so far - Asura Engineer or Norn Warrior

Asura Elementalist (main)
Norn Guardian
Charr Warrior
Sylvari Mesmer
I NEED to see them both.. I will be playing one of them and need to see the char creation in detail to decide

For the BWE I'll play as many things as I can but for launch I believe it will be Asura necromancer. Turning into a Lich is too epic to pass up!
Grim Dawn, the next great action rpg!
