Amazing how reading can add context. I already thought GW2 was going to be an amazing game. Now I know it is. I'm calling it. GW2. Game of the year. If its a total fuck up. Ill man the fuck up. Ill take all blame. But if I'm right..... I'll be bragging the same. After all, its just a game. Waiting for the next one to take its place.

I hope you're right. I haven't had a good mmo to play for more than a couple months in years now. Would be awesome to finally have another mmo grab my attention for years again.

Power to you OP. Nothing wrong with some hope in life, it's what makes it so much more enjoyable. Rather be in sunshine than under a bridge any day.

Got a lot of hope for this game as well. I know a few of my friends really arent all that excited just because of how badly they got burnt on the last "great" mmo that came out.
Me, I am keeping the faith and going all in. Hell, it'll cost me less then taking the family to Red lobster.

Feel me? Thats all Im saying. I want to hear the good and the bad. I want to see if I agree with it. This isnt going to be for n everyone. So I cant help to get excited when I see a game that plans to deliver everything I like.
Part of the fun is seeing if they can really pull it off. Then seeing how long they can last. EQ been 14 years. This is exciting.
Im going to betafuck this game for close to 72 hours next weekend. I will know it intimately.

Hoping for something is infinitely better than dreading something, all I'm saying. As for the good and the bad, well...you'll get to see that for yourself that weekend. You'll then have better knowledge with which to debate.
If your friends got burnt. Then I was crispy. I was all over SWTOR. Didnt pre-purchase, but was Day 1 with 3-month re-occuring sub. And I still wasnt as excited as I am about this. Do I want it to succeed? Of course! But cant do anything if its a failure. Ill mourn. And continue my wanderlustic search.
