For all those .hack fans, our dream has come true, a .hack mmorpg is being made, it will be released on 12-05-05. I think they should put it on the game list, but it's no there yet (or I have not seen it). This game will rock! The rumor is when it will be released, but i am pretty sure it will be on the 5th, or around christmas.

I highly doubt they would release the game on the same date the internet was ruined in the game.

The game will not be a MMORPG, i will be like PSO. Choose games in waiting room on play solo with 2 other cpus.
Being that the game will be like PSO, turns me off.
Only one person said it would be released on the 5th, but I am pretty sure it will be released around christmas. And when I was reading about it. they said it was an mmorpg, and you can costimize your character and chat and all that stuff, but what exactly is a PSO?
PSO == Play station online
PSOs can't truly be MMO. The platform has not reached a level where it can support that sort of gaming.
Actually, PSO=Phantasy Star Online, not Playstation online.

I am praying .hack//FRAGMENT turns out well, being a .hack fan there is nothing I would rather see than a mirror image of "The World" as seen through out the anime and the console games.
Bandi seems to have found a license that people enjoy, and will make them money. This can be seen by the fact that they are even making .hack//FRAGMENT, as well as G.U. and another anime series along with the books AI Buster and the new .hack//ZERO manga.
The only problems I am seeing soo far (and they aren't really problems, just concerns) is the duel use of PC and PS2 to run the game. The game itself being played and run on your PS2 and the server running on the PC. It just seems like it may be a little too much to ask in the way of setup, and that; if they are already running the server off your PC they should at least be making a PC version of the game as well.
One other concern is that the game will be free online play, which worries me in that I hope it doesn't suffer lacks in updates, patches, etc due to there being no monthly fees. This is one game I would be willing to pay 15$ a month to keep it beautiful and running smoothly.
.hack//FRAGMENT should end up making out better than Guild Wars did, since while GW got a lot of hype as being the 1st free MMO of it's kind, it had no fan base. .hack on the other hand has a huge fan base, and if you asked any .hack fan they would be lying if they didn't want to play a true online version of "The World"
I hope Bandi knows this, and knows how to make there customers. If the game makes it past the release hype and is a good game they may expend the party size like they did in .hack//Legend of the Twilight Bracelet.
