Illyriad is very complex considering how simple it appears at first glance.  I'm a long time mmo player, started with EQ back in the day, have played many over the years including Eve-Online, Planetside, WoW, AoC, Warhammer, etc.  I have to say I really enjoy some fast paced combat of shootes as well and have been enjoying the new Tribes: Ascend(looking forward to Planetside 2).

    But...

I wanted to find a mmo I could play on my phone.  Something I could tinker and progress in when I have a few minutes here and there.  I found Illyriad which is browser based.  I play it alongside faster paced games.  The community is a friendly bunch which is the exact opposite of Eve-Online.

It's not a fast paced game but slow growing over weeks and months.  It's free to play and it isn't pay to win.  I realy enjoy the progression and making friends/helping others in game.  If you want a game you can play anywhere similar in complexity to Eve, give Illyriad a shot.  Use this link and I can shoot you resources for building in game.

;-)   One of the really lovely things about Illyriad, is that the community is so welcoming. It's usually really easy to find established players willing to throw resources at new players, with a running joke about newcomers being crushed to death in the deluge. Kurdruk's also my in game name in Illy, and I'm always happy to help out - if anyone is just starting off in Illyriad, message me and I'll send some care packages.
