30 Days Free with Reactivation

I just peaked at the forums and didn't see anything about this one. 30 days free if you reactivate by Sunday at noon central time. Not sure what to think. People were saying it was desperate of Bioware to offer 30 days free for existing level 50s, but this is even bigger. The problem I have is that it still doesn't benefit some people who don't have a level 50 or don't have level 6 legacy. Why not just give 30 days to everyone? For this one you have to reactivate an account, but you can do it no matter what level your character or legacy level was at cancelation. Or did only certain people get this and not everyone who wasn't active?

I'm not seeing anything about 30 days free if you reactivate by Sunday. They do detail the free 30 days for level 50s and legacy 6 with various lower level characters. You had to have been an active subscriber when they offered the 30 free days to qualify for that promotion. If you were a former player that unsubscribed you get a free 7 days to try out 1.2.

This is the email I received about 3 hours ago. Thought it might be a phishing attempt so got on an old laptop that we don't use and clicked on the link provided and took me directly to the official pages "legacy promotion." Giving me the same offer.
I think you're reading this as 2 seperate deals but you need to qualify via what's in paragraph 1 to make paragraph 2 valid.Maybe i'm wrong here,but i'm pretty sure that's how it is.
If you got the email you qualify. You are correct. Level 50, or LL 6,and un-subbed can re-activate for a free month if they do so by 4/22/2012.
Sounds really desparate.
Reactivate means you canceled in the past. Can't reactivate something that's already activated duh.
2nd paragraph can't make it any plainer or in other words, come back to the game, pay for this month and get next month free.
Right it ,means you have a cancelled account with a 50 or ll6 and reactivate by Sunday and you get the free 30 days!

There's a sticky on their general forums and it say nothing about just reactivate an account and get 30 days.It says lvl 50 or ll6 and reactivate by Sunday.
Ahhh, I didn't get the email because I called EA and had them remove/erase my account completely since I don't see myself ever going back and I don't want them to somehow use mine or my husbands closed accts in any way as saying we're subscribers when they offer their free trials. That's cool they're offering it to people if they'd like to come back though.

It's for the Q4 year end Financial Report to keep their stock holders under control, so this way they can artificiallly beef up the Sub numbers of SW:TOR and try to cover up the steep decline in "actual" sub numbers.
When I left SWTOR I still had 30 days left of my second ( accidently ) paid month. I played half of my first month. Why would I want another 30 days ? The game is simply not worth my free time anymore. It is same old, except the voiced over story mode which is a really bad quality if you compare it to other Bioware games.
f2p soon!!
SWTOR should be going Buy 2 play not free 2 play cause a lot more ppl would buy the game for updates and expansions better.

f2p b2p ...whatever, it wont make a difference, the game is not worth playing for free!
it gets boring fast & offers nothing new otehr than crappy cinematics.
EA sending begging emails bribing customers back by offering 30 days to massage
their active players figures for shareholders, nothing more.
The fact that the game is only 4 months old with subs declining since the second month,
now they are already offering 30 free days to come back, this should be enough to prove
the game is in crisis for the stature of the IP & the money spent making it!!!

Now seriously...why bash a company that gives away freebies to its faithful? If you don't like the game move on. I, for one, am going to enjoy the free time.
WoW has 10 million players and farmville at facebook has 500 users. Everybody LOVES MMO because MMO makes all games better.
NO!!! everybody love MMOs cause its a fantasy world and everybody wish star wars or WOW was real so ppl live inside this world like its a real world cause we can play the hero like in most videogames like Final Fantasy, Super Mario, Mass Effect, The Elder Scrolls, Halo, Kotor, The witcher, Crysis, Prototype and list goes on but there isn't a ending to MMOs that part was supposed to be the fun part about MMORPGs.

Would you pay a monthly sub to play CoD or any other multiplayer or single player game?
the whole point of monthly subs is pay for the ongoing development & support for a game
that keeps evolving, THERE IS NO END GAME!
