Did they say anything about how many beta weekends they'd have?

Just curious, I might not be able to play this weekend but I really want to try it out. Did they mention this would be a multiple event type of thing or just a one weekend before launch kind of thing?

It'll be a multiple event type deal.
One week per month, for every month, leading up to release. Hope that helps!
(So even if you miss this coming up weekend, you will at the least get one more event to play in before launch)
Cool, now I have to decide if it's worth the pre-order.
atleast 1 beta a month until game is released (maybe just weekends like this one cming up is or may posibly be longer whent here are less bugs to find)
What exactly do you have to decide about? Pre-order, play Beta weeekend. If you don't like it cancel pre-order. Yep, just like magic.
I definetly think it worth preordering, There alot of reasons behind why i think it is but the main one is that it different from other games on the market, also with no sub fee your garanteed to get your $60 worth.

You can really only try it out by prepurchasing it. (unless you are one of the really few that got into beta last time)
and the only thing that then could make you not get into any of the next BWE is that it got released before, in wich case you get to try it all that you can.
so yes either it get released or you get to play it in next bwe's . Both cases you will try it, if you buy it.
Beta events will be for those that pre-PURCHASE (pay in full before release).
Pre-orders do not get in. The only thing they get is a one day head start plus whatever digital items they have.

I mean, I'm pretty sure I'll buy it anyway as long as it doesn't come out late 2012. I don't want to pay for a game in full I can't play for another 6 months but I'll gladly pay if I get get a few beta runs in and it launches in 3 months. I guess no body knows for sure though...
