Ok my friend that i duo wanted this name lol XD
Total run time was 27mins, rush run with only 2 boss. We killed at the start coz of some glitch with rushing we had the day before. I did this all the while with fps lag coz of fraps o.- than ran 3 more while getting even worse lag from rending this video XD

Btw for the last boss you can pull him in the previous room so that adds will not reach you, you can first kill him and then take care of the adds.
Well i just fraps it for fun =P i can solo but it would take retardly long amount of time lol not really worth it.
And yes but honestly my friend kills them in 10s doesn't really effect us.
Yea lancer is not the best class to solo

Pretty much every time the burr turn to him its coz of like a 17k+ crit lol highest we manage to get was a 30k off the final boss. +6 gold disk =D
And mystic is now offically the most annoying class to 1v1 EVER!!!!

it's not is a WOW clone, like everything else that doesn't start with GW and end with 2.
Congrats on the Duo Run. And as for the WoW clone comment, This is an intro dungeon. The monsters here are pretty Tank & Spank. Few mechanics are thrown in.
Regardless of this, the Lancer's job is to control the movements of the mobs. The fact that he was able to maintain good control and make it look like a WoW fight is just down to skill, and not because it is "just like a WoW fight".
There are plenty of info on the game and plenty of post where we already discussed if it is or it is not a wow clone.
You even say you played the game till level 22.
So since you already know the anser or anyway you alraedy have an opinion on it, what's the purpose of such question if not trolling?
The argument of this thread was about soloing an istance not how Tera is different from WoW.
If you are really intested in such differences open a thread about it, but somehow I really doubt you care for a real answer.

In that case i'm sorry, and i'll try to answer your question.
He was playing a tank so it's role is basically to take beatings.
The difference from a wow tank is that in Tera you can count on simple armor mitigation to survive, you need to block every attack.
If a tank stand still without blocking, at the right time, he'll die and no heal it will keep him up. At the same time a Lancer must attack to generate aggro as well and manage his mana pool since blocking is mana consuming.
If a tank does his job a caster can pretty much concentrate on dps. But most of the bosses have some mechanics that force players to pay attention and dodge or they'll die.
It's worth to mention that they are 5 levels above the fungeon content in that video, in Tera a difference of 5 levels in pve is really a HUGE difference. You get less damage, you deal more damage and you crit more often.
Unfortunately, you are watching a video, and not playing it yourself. Its like watching a game of chess... very boring. However, if you are in the player's seat, its a completely different monster.
To make this exponentially worse, you are watching the 2 most static classes in the game, specially in a dungeon where there are no extra mechanics. That same fight in another dungeon would be completely different. There are mobs that randomly teleport around to strike players, which means you can't stay in one place for long. There are some that need to be properly interupted or alot of stuff happens and ect ect...
Basing your opinion of the game the way you did is like watching people eating *insert awesome food here* and saying that its just like *insert normal food here* based on the way they are eating it. Unless you do the eating, don't judge the flavor.
Err oo ya that dungeon in WoW. lol i played WoW for about errr 3 days lol my friend got me to play, refered me and all that so he told me to lvl wit him and stuff. But like whenever i get on he is always raiding or doing shit, and told me to not lvl by myself c oz if we lvl together its 3x exp. So i got bored since i couldn't do anything and quit lol. And i remember that dungeon although that seriously sound like something out of GW1 lol.
And yes lancer isn't the most...exciting class to watch XD But we get the job done =P and that first boss we fight is a bitch because he attack sos fast i can only get 1 normal attack in before he attacks again and he give you a debuff that put you to 20% hp if you get hit Q_Q
But also the block/dodge mechanic in thsi game is awesome its what makes stuff like this possible =D We well be doing a duo of cr too =D i'll try to solo CR if i get bored lol but i don't think i can clear the second room as a lancer lol. (no ranged attacks to break barrel
Also 5 lvl only really helps on the dmg and i guess allow me to take bit more hits on bosses but like if i get lazy for a second i'm going to get dropped still XD Idk for me i play sooooo much better when i have no healer, i play so careful and take almsot no dmg. But when i have healer i get so much more relaxed and just take hits XD

Coz I was bored *cough*Kehdar* I just went and soloed SM. Tooke like 1hr 20mins? idk something over 1hr XD And well i'll post it some time this week coz rending a 27minate video give me lag for solid 2-3hrs i'm not doing a 1hr+ video until i'm going to bed XD So rendering it tonight, figure out how to edit it = should i do like 6-8x speed to put it all in a 10minate video or do like 3 parts at like 3x speed?
LoL imo go 8x on trash and 1x on bosses.
Dude the bosses are what take so long XD i just put the entire thing on like 6xish so its exactly 10mins. Entire run was like 1hr 3mins or so. Its rendering now so i'm going to suffer though about 3hrs of fps lag Q_Q
