nda for previous beta events is in place indefinatley. but there is no nda for this event. so.. everything can be discussed pertaining to this event.. i'd link a twitter post as reference but i dont think i could find it again lol

I would like to know how many copies of GW2 total have been pre purchased. I know Anet will prob keep those numbers hidden from us, but I wonder if its in the 10k, 100k, or even 1m range.
I love how their website always crashes every time something new happens
I wonder how laggy and crashy the BWE will be
That's what betas are for They find this stuff out during betas and hopefully when the game launches, it's a lot smoother.
I hope so... I don't expect this beta weekend to go perfectly, as you said, that's what betas are for. But, having said that, I do hope that enough goes well that I get to kill players from other servers :-)

Hey Kanezfan, is there a way to know if that download link is the beta client for the NA servers?
It's the english language client. I don't think they have NA or EU versions right now. There are two other clients, one German language and one French language.

I started downloading it a 6am today when I got up for work and when I got off, I came home and its all nice and complete with a shiny login screen waiting for this weekend
