Why am I getting bored!!!!

Every time.

I know getting bored is inevitable, But the second to the last time i subscribed to world of warcraft, played it for 5 min and stopped.

I want to like these games. I really do. But i don't

I wish i could take something that made me not get bored.

Maybe the goverment will make this and we'll all become janitors married to fat girls and play city of heroes all day.

one can dream

    Well lets see

    Games the Government might make:

    Illegal alien border patrol

Stop the Drug Dealers NARC sim

    Bureaucracy Shake Down

    Supreme Count Justice Match Game

    Name that Secretary

    Presidential Library Tycoon

I don't see the US Government making a MMORPG anytime soon

But I would be more than happy to be proven wrong

I don't think it's you I think it's the games you're choosing. Same exact thing happened to me in WoW, I got to the point where any progress to make would require atleast being logged in for a 4-5 hour period, so the entire last month of my WoW subscription consisted of me logging in for 5 minutes, talking to some buddies, then logging out again. Just got so bored of it.

Most of us seem to play mmorpgs due to friends and expectations rather than actually "having fun" it seems. The cycle never ends: in the beginning we go out of our way to convert all of our friends to the latest game like it's a new religion. Three months later we're on a message board, threatening suicide over something inane like the latest patch notes.

The truth is that no game in it's current state has the depth to keep someone occupied for more than a month or two without dangling a carrot in front of them (which of course always looks better than it tastes). Until the genre actually deviates from the current formula a bit, it'll always happen sooner or later.

Mabe it's time you take a break from gaming, start out with a few days. I find my self doing this from time to time and it has always helped me out.

Same as me really I didn't play WoW long. Try some free trials I would recommend.
