unable to pre-order game

in Guild Wars 2

So my buddy asked me to purchase the game for him because he thinks something might be wrong with his credit card. Anyways, I go to their official site and try to preorder it for him using my credit card but i get some kind of error saying the info i entered is incorrect :/ is it possible that neither of us can pre-order it because we are both stationed in Korea?

    I think you should mail them and ask, it might be some issues with your bank and the webb shop or something... Or maybe they will open for Asians later.

    I havn't read anything about it so mailing them is probably the best way to handle things.

    Then it is most likely an issue with the webbpage, one would assume that they would tell you if they taken preorder down for the beta weekend.

    I got the same error with my credit card..and then i tried with the same card via paypal and worked...weird..

    thanks for the tip about paypal. He was able to buy the game. I'll probably check out what beta looks like this weekend if he gets invited and make a decsion after i see how it runs from korea and what kind of stuff the cs has to offer.

    As a point of note, I had the same problem.

    However, I was using a debit card. I then tried a credit card and it worked like a charm.

    If others are using debit cards and having issues, just try a credit card to see if this is indeed the issue.

     i was using a credit card. I didn't even think to try my debit though. Paypal is a working alternative though.

    I ordered today, had this issue at first. I ended up just "Temporarily allow this page" through no script and fixed the issue, after jusst allowing GW site and still blocking the others running on that page.

     

    Odd thing there was a kaptcha scrpt that was being blocked but after I allowed it didn't show any kaptcha at all. Oh well.
