GW2 LIVESTREAM Weekend! (MMORPG.COM -Guild US Server) (Now finished)

I will be streaming live gameplay of GW2 all weekend.  If you are going to be part of the MMORPG.com guild, you will likely be on the stream as well.

For those not able to participate in this weekends test, feel free to watch.  I will stay in contact throughout the stream to answer any questions, or to possibly test aspects of the game you all would like to see.

::EDIT::  I am no longer streaming.  Thank you to all who watched,  just about 800 views!  Thats a lot of people.. and that was a lot of GW2.

    good luck on your streaming and happy hunting in the game :) i will be streaming as well under this forum name but most likely going to be speaking in finnish since im going to play with my irl friends

    I was planning on spending some time in Vent with the other MMORPG.com guild members,  but when I'm not doing that, and if its requested,  I will definitely stream some commentary.

    I will, of course.  One thing i learned.. Level matters.  Level 8s can 1 hit kill my little level 3..  even regular ones.. not just the champions.  But overall, you can still kill one.  Lots of fun so far.. even though i just started.

    Going well.. A little bit of lag, but no major stability problems.  The conversations are alright.  The gameplay is fun so far, and some of the events are very tough.. and don't seem to scale particularly well... but so far so good.

    I checked the stream out earlier and it was really laggy.  much smoother now. 

     

    I can't tell if you're doing WvW or leveling in the world.  I have to assume you're currently doing WvW.

     

    You're not saying anything!  Does this game have built in teamspeak type of functionality?  That was essential for LOTRO PVMP and seems even more important here.

    No, it doesn't have any in game voice as far as I can tell.  Currently the server we're on is having problems.  I am on my headset chatting in another vent not associated with the guild.. but I will switch and give some commentary.  If this kicks me out, I might start another character and start fresh in a new area and start some commentary on that character so people know what is going on.

     

    It looks like I'm stuck in an instance right now, so I think this is a good time to restart with a new character.  The lag is due to server load.. there were times I had nearly 30 - 50 players on my screen, and tons of mobs too.. it really gets hectic, and thats just in one event.. you could be right next to another event that has a lot of people too. 

     

    I wonder how they plan on handling that.

     

    Also, I have not done WvW yet.. but will do so on the next character.

    Nice job on the stream!  Very cool to see it in action.

    Live Stream is back up!  This morning,  starting with a new Character.

     

    We have Elementalist, Engineer, and Warrior.  Now I'm going to give  Thief and then necromancer a try to round out the weekend.

     

    If I have time, I'll try deleting my least favorites, and I'll create one of each class.  You can talk to me in the chatroom, or send me questions here if you have any,  I will respond in the video commentary or write back.

    I will be creating a Ranger,  then guardian, then mesmer before the weekend is through.  That will be all professions.

    Tomorrow will be my final day,  will round out the guardian and mesmer professions in the morning, and then finish off with the elementalist which is quite possibly my favorite, with ranger coming in second..  engineer is third.

    Thats it folks!  I've given it my all,  and have nearly 30 hours of footage recorded and streamed at the original link.

     

    I will be putting out a (somewhat) short review soon, going over everything I tested which includes:

    PvP

    Item Shop

    Crafting

    Gathering

    Events

    Soloing

    Grouping

    Classes

    Traits

    Performance

    Amongst the usual sound and graphics.  I'll try and keep it concise.
