Hey Guys I have tested many of games in the past few years, but I was gonna check out Anarchy, so i went to there site and decided to pick up the 14 day trial (who knows maybe the game has pottential) wat I dont understand is why they require a credit card to play, I currently am playing world of warcraft and eve online, I am very active in both games, I have Alpha and Beta tested both of these games as well as countless others (to many to start naming) But I personnaly have had bad experiences with companys starting to charge after the trial period ends, so for this reason alone I will not give out credit card info for any game that i do not plan on paying for!  Anyways I wanted to send the production team an email but unfort there is no support line or even a forum for this game, so some of you may think this post is completely pointless I guess i just dont see how they can advertise a FREE trial and then turn around and ask for credit card info, if its free why you need my credit card? anyways I just had to get this off my chest, i wont be trying this game but maybe someone who has tried it can lemme know wat they think of it, Bryan

    Also, they require a Credit Card to make sure you don't keep trying to make the account. I have yet to see a game out there that doesn't require one when trying the trial. And if you read everything before you sign up, they all say you will be charged after your trial ends. That means, if you aren't going to pay, cancel it.

    If you already know your not going to pay..[Although, maybe I misunderstood you], then there is no use to try the trial.

    Anyways, about the game. I no longer play AO, but I still like it.

    I always loved the story they had behind it and exploring the areas. The Shadowlands are beautiful, and Rubi-Ka gives a nice contrast to it. Although, after the new texture updates, they will be closer to the same.

    It might take you a bit to learn which stats/skills to pick and to learn which implants/symbs to use, but once you learn, it is fun.

    I guess thers some people out there who insist on making mass accounts
    dont see the point of that tho

    and as for not paying, the main reason i want to trial the game is to see how it compares to wow
    but I dont wanna get charged 1 month service just because I forget to cancell my trial

    I think ther should be a seperate server for trail members
    this way the reg people dont have to deal with trail peoples and there is no reason to make crazy amount of accounts

    I believe they have the 'free basic account' thing still going. You get to play classic AO [without shadowlands and alien invasion] for free untilt he end of the year I believe.

    Shadowbane is another one that requires credit card info
    thres gotta be a better way of doing this?

    You dont need a CC to play Anarchy Online FRee version [in fact the Free version is not even a trial, its unlimited FREE] .
