About the races
I am a 50+ year old housewife and I want to play that Elin race and I was reading the boards here and not very happy with the character assassination of people who play them. I find them cute seriously and want to play them but am hesitant because obviously there is a lot of prejudices against people who play them. I do not share these views and just find them really adorable. I am also a mother and have children who are grown up already who share some of my interests. My husband was also teasing me when I wanted to play one so I am thinking it may be a common thought.
I am also a huge anime,manga and manhwa fan so I have a big liking for this type of art. In your opinion should I just play the race and hopefully no one in game judges me and refuses to group or should I play it safe and not roll one for fear of not being invited to groups and guilds. Also since they are so small for PvP they would be ideal I do like to PvP but am not very good at it but I would like to do PvP too and this tiny race seems ideal since there is no auto or tab targetting.

I'm a 32 year old father of three children, one a six year old girl. When I seen the Elin race at the character select screen my first thought was "oh, my daughter would love to play that, look at the ears". You can't help what other people think so I would say roll what you like the most and let them worry about any hang-ups. Since the "free beta" crowd moved out the community has been really great and I highly doubt you'd get any negative attitude simply because of your choice of Elin. If so I would personally laugh at how silly it is.
While each race has a hit box size and reach BHS adjusted them per race in order to even them out. For instance, the Elin will have a bigger hit box per their size but also a longer reach. A Baraka by comparison would have a small hit box for his body and shorter reach. From a technicality standpoint Elin should still have an advantage but it's supposed to be negligible.

MAGA
I am a 60+ father of three and my 21 year old son loves that race. He came over the other day and made warrior. He had a blast and was laughing the whole time. He is going to buy the game. Both my sons are hardcore gamers. They are into League of Legends, but when they both saw this game, it hooked them.
I started them gaming when they were 6 years old
