Reminds me of Heroes of might and Magic - turn based gameplay. Free to play? Ill give it a whirl
Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz.
Anyone played it and could give some insight on how it plays and if it's P2W or anything like that?
Turn-based combat, so a good portion of the battle is prediction and counter-attacking. You have a certain amount of attack points that you can spend each round, and to allocate them to each of the defense types and each of the attack types while the opposing player or mob does the same.
The story-driven quest system is kind of cool because, like older RPGs and a lot of the JPRGs, it's more interactive than the standard wall-o-text and accept button of most MMOs.
There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein

oooohh, retro
It's...interesting. I'm trying to wait to decide whether I like it or not. The videos are more exciting than the actual gameplay so far, but that might be because the beginner levels are underwhelming in terms of your limited means of attacking and lack of party members.
I just started though, so I'll give it a little longer. I'm currently on the ship, killing off, of course, rats.

just tried this game. fun for some cheap thrills...old school style...a nice game to pass the time on a slow day at work.
Can anyone tell me if the combat system is like Atlantica Online? If yes, this could be the game of the year for me Unless its pay to win, like AO...
Ive only played a couple of levels but its nothing like Atlantica...You have 10 seconds to pick your defense (melee, ranged, magic) and your attack (same as defenses).....Its kinda fun but nowhere near as good as Atlantica.....Like others here, Im undecided as to how long I'll play it.
I had hopes for this game but after playing closed beta and now gotten the 30 days premium for open beta... it just does not interest me. the movement is clunky, the battles are repetitive (all you have to do is click click). there is really no strategy involved.
the most annoying thing though is clicking multiple times to go somewhere or to get to a door or to talk to someone, it is so tediously annoying that I believe this is the one thing that makes this game fail for me. nothing is polished or smooth. story? don't care about that, I care about game mechanics not reading text.
just my personal opinion.
