Crafting and the bags they provide.

You can run around with a bag for Gear, a bag for Materials, and a DO NOT SELL bag. Your items are autosorted into those bags, but other items can be put in them freely if you want.

Sounds like another thing Anet got right and something that will hopefully give players a long term crafting economy.

Okay, I'll admit.  The 'do not sell' box is pretty badass. xD  I can't even say how many times I wish I had one of those!

AN have been very good at implementing features which people typically rely on addons for, all these little features sure boost the overall quailty of the game.

Hows that? Confused....I bought a couple bags and made a couple but how does the 'Do Not Sell' thing work? Some sort of lock on a specified bag?

Those words in red were hyperlinks.

Apparently they're specifically crafted bags that have those behaviors. :)

They had this in GW1 too, except the Gear bag.  I've always loved the idea.

Damn, I missed all sorts of stuff.  First the bank tab for mats and now this.  It's those cursed events and all the pretty scenery.  It kept me perpetually distracted.

EDIT:  Aaaaahhhhh -- crafted items.  That explains things.

There is a lot of stuff in the game and it's impossible to try all of it over the weekend. This is why I'm going to use each BWE to focus on certain things. Last event was mostly PvE and exploration. Next event is going to be strictly PvP.

Same. Totally missed it. Well, I knew about the materials bag cause I crafted one, but the rest? Who knew.

This is further refinement of what is present in GW1 :)

Cool!  I didn't know about this at all, but I like it!  I might craft in the next beta.

The problem is that when you pick the bag up you drop it.

I can't tell from the Wiki and I haven't done any crafting at all yet, but can you max out a crafting skill without levelling your character?

You would need to get access to the higher level mats required, either from a higher level character or from the AH. Crafting also gives you XP, you're bound to gain a level or maybe two while crafting to max.

Ah, in that case I will probably make a crafter alt and park him in the craft area, sending him materials from my main :)

    On an unrelated note:  https://forum-en.guildwars2.com/forum/game/suggestions/Sell-All-Junk-Button/page/1#post150990

We'll be able to sell all junk with a click of a button.  They didn't implement it though for BWE.

What I like about the feature in Guild Wars 1 is that you can turn this off or on for each and every bag in your inventory.

I would like to see this come back.

Well these bags are pretty cool. Master craft level I am assuming is skill level 400 or close? Only bummer is that there appeared to be no Leathersmith bags.

I saw the collectables tab in the bank which was pretty cool. I was afraid for all the mats I was seeing until I saw that. (Especially with some mats of the same name having a different $$ value, creating new stacks.)

I LoL'ed when I "Discovered" two different kinds of bags. One bag, the contents will not show up when I go to sell at an NPC (to keep from accidentally selling things) and another that automagically sorted crafting ingredients into it when gathered. It was like Anet was reading my mind.

In 15+ years of gaming, I still end up accidentally selling things I didn't mean to. It especially sucks when you don't realize you did that until later. It's a small thing, but still a great one on Anet's part. It makes me want to explore the crafting even more to see what other little touches they've thrown in there.

just wanted to update, I think i am wrong about all trades having 3.. I think its 2 special types per tradeskill. Which is still great!

Ooooo very cool. Seemed a bit wrong to only have 2 crafts make them!
