Well Aion decided to announce the rift buffs are gone for the next 2 weeks on all servers.
I re-rolled twice already, and now can't avoid being ganked no matter what now.
Seriously, how can you level up to join in the battle when all you are is fodder for those who already have leveled?

NCSoft learned nothing from the past other than how to repeat it.
Awesome pets though from MMO and Alienware, too bad you can't kill anything to enjoy them. What a terrible game.
Its a matter of opinion really. Personally I love Aions rifting system because it adds another level of pvp that you dont find in other MMOs. While questing you always have to be on your toes and watch out for the other faction. For me it keeps the experience fresh rather then the same old questing rinse and repeat mechanic you'll find in other MMOs with no sense of real danger.
I can understand that others may not like it though. Ganking can get old but in Aion I honestly wish there were more rifts available I could easily find one if I wanted and pvp instantly.
There is no lack of MMOs to pick from so I say to people to don't like Aions rifting system, go find a different one you enjoy and stop whining :-/
And fyi, the game is far from dead. Starter zones are packed full. Don't kid yourself ;p Me thinks your slightly butthurt so you hate the game. If you can't handle the heat get out of kitchen mate

Am I the only one who finds this post incredibly melodramatic? They are lifting the rift buffs for a PvP event for two weeks and all of a sudden the game is dead? Makes sense.
You said you've re-rolled, what level are you now? Can you go to Theobomos/Brusthonin and grind or quest in those areas? Also, I don't know what sever you're on but on mine, I'm rarely ever in an area where I don't see a ton of other people around my level, and a lot of the times with a mentor or two hanging out. I don't think this event is going to be as big of a deal as you think.
