yea nice little post about no more beta testers for a while also.. Really is bullshit being as i already bought it to get into beta..

If it wasnt ready for beta they shouldnt have send out preorder boxes to retailers that say beta entry on them..

I agree they really shouldn't sell pre-order boxes if they aren't sure about releasing it soon, but I am very happy that they are doing their best and will go at any lengths to make sure we get a great game that deserves our money. I can't wait to hear more detail about all the new things they add.

This is a very wise move their part. It means that NetDevil can see flaws in the game as it now stands, and wish to take the extra time neccessary to make AA a better game. It sounds like they are overall going with adding more variety to the game, to keep it from getting too stale too fast, which is something it doesn't really have going for it right now.

I think it was a good move.

yea fixing game is good, taking peoples money for a game that is no where near ready when THEY said it would be is bad.. thats my beef.. lots of guys paid full already & got nothing to show for it.

Look at the positive side though...you might have to wait even longer to get into beta now, but that's a good thing because as the game stands right now, it doesn't neccessarily have a long lifespan. You'll be able to jump in later on when they've implemented the changes.

Maybe they could start an alpha server that wont reset...

Companies usually dont bother to do such thing...but after the pre-order is offered, they should entertain the idea.

I dunno, this is a rough idea I just had and it would need a lot of work, but I think it has some potential if done right with lot of warnings and all.

I would limit the alpha server to only 1 faction and limit a lot of others stuff, to make sure folks want to try the game for real when it come out...anyway...like I said, the idea is rough and it would need a lot of rework and I am to tired to think about that now (and to angry at DDO).

Bah, to much work...bad idea...nevermind me...happen sometimes. They really needs to focus on their game rather then such details

I hate to tell you this buddy but there was never a official release date so you have nothing to complain about on that part.

Preorder box still lets you get in beta, it probly just means no more beta invites.

Alright! This is complete and uder bullshit, hehe, it relaeses the start of summer to me! Thats one positive point guys, most of you must be in High School and waiting for it right? Pay attention in school and we can all waste our entire summer playing.

I am not giving up on AA but im going to play World of Warcraft or Star Wars Galaxies while I wait

Not to mention the fact that every major game distributor has been selling the game for several months now.

i hate to tell you but if you preorderd you WONT get into beta anytime soon, prob till stress test.. They BSed us, you stand a better chance of getting in just by registering for beta.. Then even had the nerve to recomend you do both on the official forum; So GL i got my money back.. Im not letting NC have my 50 bucks for 6 months after they mislead people about beta..

I got flamed pretty hard for my opinion on the subject.. "like i care" retail people changed there dates weeks ago, witch to me means they got a heads up weeks ago from someone, yet NC still took peoples preorders with NO intention of it even being close to beta not to mention retail..

This game is still alpha obviously, so if you preorder dont count on play time till next year.. maybe but i doubt it.. IMO they have sold so many preorders they CANT let them in, till they are alot closer to a done deal with there networks..

witch gives all new meaning to the work "priority" hell on there officail preorder page it say access to beta events.. yet i know people that got in randomly & didnt spend a dime.. BShit

That is what they assumed when it would be released but they never actually said it was going to be released on this year.

As for the game being sold if you preorder it you still get into beta and I would rather play beta then start paying a monthly fee for a unfinished game like many mmorpg's have been.

You have nothing to complain about since more people would rather pay to play a finished game then some buggy game that was rushed out like hmm lets see: SWG, MXO, and even WoW to name a few.

There was no mislead and I was able to get in beta with my box last week so I guess the preorder box still works even though it doesn't say you get into closed beta, just during the beta events.

And as for the people that got in free, guess what, the preorder box gives you more then just beta playing and you are paying for the full game now instead of later when it would probly cost more and be harder to find.

I guess you havn't preordered many games like this if you think all you get is beta playing time instead of paying for a game that they are working at to prevent a buggy launce.

Sure would suck to have bought it just to get into the beta and get it pushed back so long. So glad they realized now instead of later that they wouldn't be able to finish it in time. Imagine a game that was actually really and truly ready upon release.

I don't see why preorder people are upset... I mean I've seen stuff on EB Games with a release date that hasnt been announced yet. They are making the game, they do what they want.

And like they said, the delay is to add stuff not because the game needs work.

giving out patches the whole first week of play is what they are trying to avoid, they are basicly done with it but they want to change stuff that they wouldnt be able to change after the release. Like the combat system is actully still undesided and the boundries of teh world keep going out

Iraski, some ppl preorder just to try the beta, and dont realize that they bought it, I preordered it amazingly 5 days after the last preorder beta invites where let in on accident, before the push back. So insted of getting in the next week we have to wait several months but im not crying

Just think of it guys when it comes out it might as well rival WoW because what it will become, most of these player hypes are ppl who read the one sentance preview on this site and havent even gone to their website.

I Demand a Recount on the Hype Meter for Auto Assault no one below Apprentice Member and vote on games!

Anything they do to make the game last longer sounds good to me. I REALLY want to be in the beta but I understand that they aren't giving out more invites so they can do some work on the game. I'll be waiting...
