Really Short Version
Dark Order of Caine are a tight knit friendly pvp guild of around 25 – 30 players looking for like minded players to join us. Our beliefs are the better you know your guildies the better of an experience you will have. No one wants to be a number and everyone wants to be counted and that is something we have been doing for over 7 years. Sitting back and talking your guild mates over ventrilo even when not in game.
Saying that we also bring our game face when we mean business and we all understand the pivotal role each member can play and always try and help better each other through constructive criticism and feedback.

Dark Order of Caine was officially established in a PvP MMO called Shadowbane in 2005 with its own lore and storyline. Since its inception it has gone from strength to strength, and has a core membership dedicated to making the guild successful in any MMO where it decides to make its presence official. Membership comprises players from across the globe; accepting both EU and NA players into our ranks, and the community is tight-knit & friendly with a thirst for organised events.
Our focus, up until Guild Wars 2, has mainly been on PvP; playing games such as Shadowbane, Darkfall, AoC, and many more. We do intend to bring PvP more to the forefront as the guild develops, but we're not averse to taking on players who aren't particularly bothered about PvPing that much. Saying that we are Hardcore PvPr's we do expect everyone to be prepared and ready, and we do expect people to understand each other's characters. We do plan on entering tournaments and having our experience grow as a guild. and if this is what you are looking for then be sure to sign up to our site.
The Short Version
1) You need to be able to use ventrilo, having a mic isn't necessary but helps with guild cohesion and communication
2) Must be over 18+
3) Must be able to handle criticism
4) Must be able to follow strategies laid out
5) Must Fight with honour and respect your opponent
The Long Version
1) Applicants must have access to ventrilo. Having a microphone isn't mandatory (though it helps!), but we have found over several years and MMOs, that having everyone logged into vent both helps to create a tigher knit community, and also allows us to quickly and easily contact people if necessary, convey instructions during group PvE or PvP, and so on.
2) We prefer applicants to be over the age of 18, though we have, and will continue to make exceptions where we deem it necessary. This is because we like members of the Order to act with at least an appreciable amount of maturity... though of course we don't expect people to be "100% prim'n'propa"!
2) Applicants must be prepared to help other guild members as necessary. We don't expect people to become "lowbie servants" once they hit max level, but helping people with particularly troublesome quests, doing the odd lower lvl runs and so on, isn't too much to ask. Conversely, members shouldn't be looking to get a free ride and asking for help whenever they run into an obstacle; we want our members to be strong, at least semi-independent, and capable of thinking on their feet to overcome problems as necessary. If you're after having your hand held throughout then apply to another guild!

I can really recommend this guild for anyone who is either hardcore or casual. We do both pvp and pve but mainly focused on pvp. We have alot of different members, some like pvp, others pve some are hardcore and some are casual. Pretty much the perfect guild for anyone.So I do recommend this guild not because I'm in this guild, but because I always enjoyed being in the guild. Even in the thougher times we had we managed to get back up and get stronger. Ever since I'm playing MMORPG's this must be my most favorite guild I've ever been in. I'm in DoC for about a year now and I enjoyed every single second of it

I don't know how to explain...
This guild has kept me gaming, they have been by far the absolute BEST guild I have ever been in. They have been the best PvP guild for both casuals and hardcore members alike. They are really good people and very friendly! Although I am just a member in the guild, as I have been for about 1 year now, you shouldn't trust just my word alone. I would highly recommend this guild to anyone out there who LOVES PvP, gaming, real life (cause RL is more important than games), friends, making friends, PvE, gaming, more gaming, oh and did I mention gaming?
