So far the only class I can seem to stick with is Warrior (only thing that keeps me going is the look of new gear, and that won't keep me in for long). I want a new class, I don't know which one, I'm sure I love one of them it's just I can never stick with a class.
I need your input. The things I like are: very unique, cool abilities, takes a bit of talent to use/perfect, somewhat multi purpose (I don't want a shaman, I've tried on before and found it boring), and still has access to good gear (not limited to just one type of armor/weapon set) but not a big deal.
Oh and the biggest thing, I need the feel of it not being repetive. Warrior felt like: Charge, Rend, attack, etc. I don't want anything like that, I want something to offer a different experience each time/give me more options to fight.
If you give a suggestion please tell me in some detail as to why you like it and how it might fit my liking.

Maybe the druid is what you're looking for, as their abilities change according to the animal form used. In humanoid form, they heal and cast spells, in bear form they function as a warrior and in cat form as a rogue. This offers a wide variety of gameplay and combat tactics.
Currently playing:
* City of Heroes: Deggial, Assault Rifle/Devices Blaster. Server: Defiant.
* City of Villains: Snakeroot, Plant/Thorns Dominator. Server: Defiant.
I'm gonna say any of the Hybrid classes
Shaman, Druid and Paladin

I'd say mage. You get some of the coolest looking abilities in the game, and you'll always find a group, I guarantee.
I agree with those that have pointed out the Druid, very cool to have tons of options and also make up for the lack of a certain class in any group. But to me the best Class is without a doubt Warlock. Not only do you have to be tactical about what spells you cast and when to cast them, b ut you also have a wide variety of pets to chose from. This class is great because if you want to act as a warrior, take your sword and firestone out and use your Imp to cast buffs and mage like fireballs. If you want to cast then sit back and let your voidwalker handle the aggro while you safely debuff enemies untill they are a shadow of what they used to be. Want to help a group? no problem take out your succubus and have her Charm some mobs so your group can concentrate on more important mobs. Also with a Lock you don't just click a target and pound it till it dies. You really should be casting on everyone and draining mobs while your team works their way through the 6 mobs they just aggrod. You also get some very handy spells like ritual of summoning that can summon people from anywhere to your location. Soul shards are cool and add another element to this class. Drain the soul of an enemy and then use that soul to either heal yourself or friends and even use them to rez you or your groups healer. This class is based on Damage Over Time so it's tough to learn, but once you do you can be outputting by far the most damage. Fear is also a great little spell that sends mobs and players running around everywhere while you concentratew on buffing or another mob. This class is great for crowd control and is just very versatile. you will definitely find yourself using a bunch of spells on a bunch of different enemies. You can't just set up one hotbar and 6,5,4,3,2,1 your way to victory.
Very fun stuff
I like the suggestions, keep them coming.
I've tried Warlock in the past. Only got him to level 8 or so but it felt like I was babysitting a pet, I can barely afford spells for myself let alone an imp. I may give it another try though.
Druid seems cool, but a HUGE MAJORITY of players I've met say he becomes useless at high levels.
Mage I like, just wasn't sure if he was involving enough.
Again, my opinions aren't that valid as I've only played each class to about level 8 and the fun really begins at level 10.
Depends on what you like, anyways Druids are getting buffed in patch 1.8 ( been delayed)

Watch this video : They arn't useless, just depends onif you can play them or not! Every class ha a different PVP style you have to take on!
Like i'll take Rogues for example:
Put natures grasp on (talent) go into bear form and wait for them to hit you. They will become entangled and then come out and spam starfire (not moonfire)
Then put regens on go into bear form and always attack him with that (as rogues weakness are warriors) If you have the right talent build you'll have instant heals when you come out and back in of bear form :P
Pretty easy to beat em too, can keep them entagles if you want! When they try run away then use moonfire!

Druid or Warlock.
And no, Druids are not useless at high levels, they are very much needed. Druids I would say for more defensive/healing and locks for more offensive/controlling.

As far as what class you choose it should be personal prefrence, and if you get bored playing a warrior you are going to get bored playing any other class as well, but most of these people forgot to mention one of the funnest classes to play in the game: Rogue. Lots of people play rogues, but why do they do that? Some becuase they think its cool, but lots of people play rogues becuase it's fun.
I have a level 60 mage and my rogue is a lot more enjoyable to play then my mage. Also, do not play warlock. Only someone inexpirenced would tell you that. Shards are a pain in the butt, and everyone is always asking for summons. A druid may be okay, I have never played one, never been really interested in them. Maybe because of my perception of druids from Diablo II. And if you didn't enjoy your shaman you will not enjoy a druid.
Paladins are boring. There just a priest who wears plate mail and hits things with a hammer.
And finaly Priests = Easy mode. They are really good in duels, and people always need them for groups. If you want to breeze through the game play a priest. It's harder to level by yourself if you go healing spec at first so I'd definately recommend shadow untill level 60 then respc. Priests bore me though. But if you ever go to MC, priests need to be damn good to do their job.
I'd hate to resort to name calling, but only someone with very little knowledge of this game would tell you not to play a certain class.
Locks are the most in depth class bar none. Yes keeping up with shards is not the easiest thing to do, but it adds that extra element. So what if people ask you for summons all the time. This is a great way to meet new people and also a great way to make some extra money. Most classes are what I like to call battering rams. You click a target and you let loose on it with a fixed order of spells or abilities. This is what makes most of these classes boring to me. I love how the lock can aid a group by casting spells on all the adds and keeping them at bay. Different spells are used for different targets all the time. A well played lock deals the most damage out of everyone. Imagine casting DOT spells on 4 or five mobs. You can really wreak havoc when your doing 200 points of damage every second to multiple foes. Another thing about a good lock is it's ability to keep fighting. Most mages spam their attacks and after 20 seconds are out mana and need to sit down and drink all the time. Locks can use lifetap and drain there own life to gain mana. Then hit a mob with drain life and the cycle is complete. Plus locks get a good amount of talents that do some nasty things like instant casting a 350 point shadow bolt, or increasing the effects of their curses. Drain mana is another good example of how locks can literally blow through tons of mobs. Hell fire is great AOE damage and because you have a Voidwalker you can usually get away with it unscathed. Grab a priest and a lock and it's almost certain doom for any who come near.
Casting doubt on a lock because of his need to drain peoples souls is just silly. Thats where he gets his energy from.
Making fun of me and saying I know nothing is also silly. Especially because of your reasoning to try a rogue. Do it cause everyone else is.
Peace
I've been playing since beta and ever since that time, I have hated hunters, just from being around them. However this weekend I rolled my first one. It's fun. Many people will say they got problems, but they are still fun. I personally like the ability to own from a distance, but unlike a mage you also can fight up close with melee, and have to controll your pet. You should give it a shot as well.
Please, don't be silly. He asked for everyones opinon and I gave him mine. And I didn't say play a rogue because everyone else did. I said why do you think so many people play rogues. Because it's enjoyable. Let me guess you play a warlock? Well, sorry to say, but very few people actualy enjoy playing warlocks. That's all I have to say about it. And if you had read the first part of my post you'd understand the most important thing to picking a class you will enjoy is personal prefrence.
Since you played a melee based character, you should try out ranged classes. I know it may be a wierd reason but after playing a melee class so long, you might enjoy playing ranged classes such as mages, or warlocks, or hunter. Also, if your looking to pvp alot during end game, you might want to be a shadow priest or something cause you have the ability to do some real damage and also scatter groups with fear abilities. I play a paladin. I'm not gonna post my list of complaints and fixes Blizzard should attend to here. But I will say that playing this class can me really boring. However, in PvP, you can make a real difference if you know how to ASSIST other classes. Mages do heavy damage. Hunters are REALLY good for pvp for slowing people down and placing DOTs.
Warlock is easy PVP. Anyways, most people don't play a warlock simply because they don't enjoy it. And I'm not talking just from my expirence but others who have shared theirs with me. And again another person ignores the most important part of my post. I said: Whatever class you play is personel prefrence. Why do people keep skipping that? That's the very first line of my post. After that I go on with my opinon.
just wanted to add my input...
I play a hunter and I love it. No matter what other class i make and mess around with, i ALWAYS come back to my troll hunter. One thing that keep it interesting is the ability to constantly change your animal friend that you fight with. And if you are on a RP server (this also adds to the less repetitiveness of the game) you can add your "best friend" into the mix when you play.
But, if the hunter doesnt sound good, then definately make a tauren druid (because the alliance just suck ) You will be able to switch between a caster, healer, rogue, and warrior on the drop of a dime.
Just a thought...enjoy.
