Looking for a certain game.

Hi, i've been playing MMO's about 2 years on and off (sometimes months out). But I never seem to get to high lvl. It seems the games I played requires a certain ammount of grinding to get to a higher lvl at a reasonable speed. One of these games was WoW. I liked the PvP at lvls before 30, but i couldnt get over that lvl because i kept re-rolling. What my question is, is are there any MMO's out there that doesnt require grinding at all thru the game. And the things that are done are entertaining and competative. I like PVP more than PVE as I came from a FPS background. Are there any games that have lots of PVP and less grinding?

Funny thing is I thought someone would reply with that lol. I have the game, but it seems so different from MMO's, that I didnt bother playing it long. Maybe that difference is what I need. I will go check it out. Any others?

Most MMOGs have grind... might want to try EVE. It's not too action oriented but the grind isn't really the issue if you choose a battling path... it's the mining that's grindy...ish...

Face of Mankind has absolutely no grind. Well, it doesn't have any levels or stats either. The closest to grinding you can get is if you mission farm to get money or higher ranks, but even that isn't too bad (if you are allowed to do it).

    Probably your safest answer.

    Good luck!

I just want to say I am having all sorts of fun playing EVE.

I can't believe I waited about 2 years to play because I thought the bad things some people were saying were true, but I can tell you it is not like what you see in any bad reviews. You just need to see it all for your self.

1st 14 days are free with no need for credit card anyways.

I like all the Agents and missions because I pretend they are real and not just a way to advance.

And no grinding!!! I could not believe it my self untill I played.

Now I play a MMORPG for fun, not just to get to any next level.

realy tactical too in fighting and just reacting and interacting with the NPC stuff and Real people stuff Etc...

And I actually fallow the Ship Logs you get when destroying pirate ships

    For example

    Sansha Ship Log 187342874

This salvaged data from a destroyed Sansha
    Vessel reveals the following:
"Sometimes my head hurts. Perhaps it's the
Master's implants. I must be better at
tolerating pain. Master wouldn't want me to
feel pain. I must do what the Master wants. I
feel compelled to go to the tenth moon of
Andabiar V. I am sure I'm being directed there
to increase my pain threshold. Then I could
    serve better."

    Guristas Ship Log 125792289

This salvaged data from a destroyed Guristas
    vessel reveals the following:
"Three days in base was all I had and I'd
better use the short time well. I was
speaking with Chief Scout Kaikka Peunato
about our outposts in Venal, when he
mentioned a hideout of ours that I wasn't
familiar with. He told me that if I got into
trouble, I could always go back to the moon
of H-UCD1 II for repairs and rearming. It
surprised me that I hadn't heard about it
before, and I'll be sure to check it out, if not
    only to check his credibility."

I am not a writer but let me tell you this game is awesome fun even the coureor missions I do stuff while I’m doing them. Like along the ways in between. It’s so cool. Like steeling cargo pods I notice in space while taking a few baddies out and really getting into the tacticalness of it all. Not just fighting but the relationships etc…

Also IMO this game play in windowed mode the best I've ever seen, good job CCP.

Factions every ware and this sunday today there were 14,000+ people on and no lag.

Everthing they say on the website is true.

I suggest people with the maturity of about 22 to 45 years old Man or Woman.

I finaly got to 60 on WoW with help from my friends at Fatesend.com (mu guild) but when I got to 60 I was at a loss the PvP there is great but tailored to people who are serious players. I am loving EvE it is seriously fun. But I have always liked the Sci FI genere more than fantasy

You can't PvP untill the top level in WoW, HAHAHAHAHA it figures! Come on, doesn't anyone see why that shows the game is a joke for leveling addicts.

You Grind to level 60 then run in circles in the woods smacken eachother with swords, how lame!

You WoW people need to play a game that is fun to play and you play it to have fun and not to get to the next level doing the same thing over and over.

Guild Wars isn't very fun imo.  I was looking for an adventure type game and after buying guild wars, i was very dissapointed.

There are so many different types of MMOs out now, you have to specify what kind of MMO you're looking for.  Adventure, Shooter, Action, etc

You misunderstand you can get into the PvP battle grounds before 60 LvL 21 for Warsong Gulch and 50 for Alterac Valley.  You can even PvP at lvl one if you chose to.    The reason for my statement  lies with the PvP ranking system.   With the system you can aquire some nice gear as your PvP rank goes up.  (This game is VERY gear oriented).  The thing is the highre PvP raks are set by your PvP point in comparison to others.  Of course this favors somone who plays 8 hours a day over somone who plays 2 hours a day.  Before people start tellin me to stop whining Im not.  I think its a good Idea award those who are playing the game.  What I am trying to say that if you are a casual gamer this is a great game but be aware that the more time you spend in game the better off you will be.  Im just happier with eve because 1 it works for my schedule and second its not GEAR intensive

Hay it's cool, but that's my point,

Everything in this game is built on levels so unless your the exact same level, one is too unrealistically overpowered then the other and therefore you have to wait until the end levels/level60 to be likely to be close enough to have any kind of real match up. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

And then what do you got? You’re still just playing with a sword running in circles. It's lame, you were right to leave the game.

Demand better and no levels, then oh my gosh they will actually have to make a good game that belongs online with many people playing against each other.
