Is LDoN really worth it?

I am debating on whether or not to hook up on the latest expansion for EQ. There are three main reasons I am hesitant to bust it out.

Reason #1 - I am anxiously awaiting Horizons and being that its release is imminent (NOV) I am not sure that I want to spend more money for something I will only be playing for another month or two.

Reason #2 -  I cannot devote enough time to EQ as it is now. With working 40 hours+ a week and going to school fulltime (15 credit hours), I am only able to play 1 day a week for 6 to 8 hours.

Reason #3 - Typically I play solo or with one other friend of mine, and have not been one to group with people I dont know. Specifically because I hate to leave a group just as we get going because I run out of time.

Quesions remain: Is it worth it?, Are groups easy to find?, and are the quests 30 to 45 minutes as I have heard?

Thanks for any comments you have!

reason 1- november is supose to be horizons launch but don't hold you breath more likely end of december

reason 2-time .well   if you have explored the older zones then yes might be worth getting it but most likely you have not.

reason 3 - soloing. Not currently playing EQ but i understand this expansion is an attempt to bring back the glory days of dungeon crawl  but more personalizd this time around.Like many dungeon crawls in EQ you need to group and i think this expansion would be more or less a group oriented thing.

Might help to make you final decision based on someone's opinon that currently plays EQ though.

Well I caved and bought it, and I am very impressed and happy with it. It forces you to group, but only have about a 2 hour commitment. Pretty nice for those who dont have too much time. The quests are fun, and the rewards are pretty good. Killed two named in one adventure last night, dropped some pretty good stuff. I think its worth it. I would recommend it.
