DC Universe Online: The Joker Making a Return

The DC Universe Online team has announced that next month, Joker will make a return to the game in "The Last Laugh" DLC. The new content will feature opportunities for players to engage one another in PvP action as well as add an all-new weapon, more multiplayer game play in the Safe Houses and Headquarters, and new Legends PvP characters.
“We created this DLC purely for the players that like to take the fight to each other in DCUO's amazing PvP combat," said Jens Andersen, creative director on DC Universe Online. "Our community has continuously asked for more multiplayer action in DCUO, and we wanted to deliver content that fully meets their expectations and pushes PvP to another level. The Last Laugh is the first DLC that we've created that focuses almost entirely on player versus player battles, and it adds an exciting new element as some of DC's greatest heroes and villains join to fight alongside you. Players will have even more opportunities to prove to the world whether heroes or villains will be triumphant."

I am shocked that this game is still around,truly one of the worst games i ever played.
On the contrary, this is one of the best games I have ever play. May not be the best mmo, but it is definitely the best super hero mmo of all-time.
When we get back from where we are going, we will return to where we were. I know people there!
ill rather have Co or CoH for that, and thats because the customization is way better in those games
action elements and graphics are better in DCUO, CoH needs a sequel, it's been milked about as much as it can be.

I absolutely love this game... It is easily one of the best mmo's out in the market at this time.
The customization is way better AT THE BEGINNING of those games. DCUO has customization that goes on till the very end of the game. And DCUO's combat kicks major arse.

Shield is the new weapon
If you go back for this recycled expansion pack, make sure you watch yourself. For some reason the GMs have gone on a big ban kick lately.
Even though there's a chat filter, you can and will be banned for *any* profanity and/or racially sensitve words - doesn't matter what context used, doesn't matter what channel.
Also, they're handing out a lot of bans for "hacking" based on a tool with a very high false positive rate. Pretty much any network latency leaves you vulnerable to a hacking ban. The funny thing is that the GMs think they're doing the right thing because the design of the client-server relationship limits what they can possibly know about what's going on client-side.
It's a shame - this licence and this game deserves a better company than SOE.
I actually like the game, but the splash page showing the new features made me laugh with one of the lines. When discussing the new headquarters battles the blurb reads: "massive 8 versus 8 battles."

Yeah that is kinda how the programmers and artists get payed... games that does not make money get canceld.

You can customise characters at any time in CO & CoH with far more options; you really cannot hold DCUO as a competitor there, as far as customisation is concerned, it trails a poor third place.
The combat is the game's strongest point, but I'd also love to get DCUO's cities inside CoH.
Much better graphics+good customization later on( lvl 30)=win
The game makes your armor like shiny and with lights *.* If you have not played to lvl 30 and have gotten some of the raid gear styles and pvp styles of course the customization starts.
And this game is pretty good.
never liked sidekick online much.and im usually into superhero games.
DC universe has the best combat cause its super smooth with my xbox 360 controller, awsome gfx and great lore. CoH is a point and click turned wsad, and CO the only thing it has going for it is the character creation. I gather my costume pieces and can change the way i look anytime during the game of DC.
All I can say is Haters will Hate. And those hater probably love the piss outta WoW. So that's all that needs to be said.

The options in DCUO aren't as diverse, but they definitely look much better in DCUO... Overall, DCUO is a much better game for modern day players... the combat and world are fantastic, and the story aspects are amazing.
I believe I'm going to be coming back to DCUO for a month to see what I've missed.
