simple question

KlimaxKlimax Member Posts: 12

I am seriously looknig to buy this game, and have played the trial for a short while. During my time with the trial, I haven't gotten passed the masked guys' capitol (I think they called it their capitol) and I was dissapointed by the lack of players. Now I can't imagine Ryzom being so empty when I keep hearing about people subscribed to it, and it even has a higher rating than DAoC on MMORPG.com.

So my question is, when will you get to the more crowded places? Where people hang out? And is there a city where people from all four races meet up?

Zorai is a very underpopulated race.  If you travel to the other capitol cities you will find more players generally.  Hopefully that wont be the case forever, but zorai is generally very quiet.

The game is well worth it, if you buy it, do it now because theres only a few hours left on the free month offer.

Well, Im affraid that Ryzom is, indeed, quite empty nowadays.

I just resubsrcibed myself (been playing a month at launch and yet a couple during this spring), and at now time before have I seen Atys this empty.

I truely hope and believe that the Outposts and Episode 2 will bring both new and old players.

As much as I'd like that one month, right now it's not possible for me, I have to wait a couple of days before I have the money for it, and the graphics card.

But if all races stay at their own capitol, is there no place where people from different races come together?

Also, what do higher level people do in this game?

And my last question, what is this outposts thing everyone's talking about?

Its true most races stay at their own capital, but that doesnt mean they dont go to the other capitals for trade, missions and events. It is just that they spend more time in their own capital.

Higher level players hunt in higher level areas of the game, or dig higher level materials ;)
    (Or hunt higher levels bosses)
At the moment the content for higher levels is a bit missing, but as far as i can tell from the news and stuff they are working to fix that.
Best way to avoid it, is to not become too high level...

Outposts... It is something like a guildtown that you have to earn. I expect you earn it by doing missions, getting fame and when you get it you need to put effort in it to keep it running.
When another guild wants the same outpost, they can fight over it, and the whole community is wondering how that is going to work.
