A lot of information in this update regarding the changes to taming and pet control.

Definitely some good information regarding these changes in this update, and nice to hear about some "new" creatures, though I would have liked to have heard more about some of the other systems coming with Awakening as well.

Yeah I'm kind of looking forward to hearing more about the AI/Dungeons myself. The only taste of that I've seen so far is talking about a bear following them. Has nobody been charged by a minotaur or had their head bit off by a troll yet?
Same here. Though they mentioned some new mobs, I'd definitely like to hear more about them, and what their capabilities might be. New dungeons, with some interesting bosses, will be a welcome addition to the game as well.
I'd also like to hear more about the trade tools, if they've been implemented into the test yet, as well as some highlights about the functionality of the new GUI elements.

Multiple pets will mean a crash in the price of horses. If tamers can go back to town with 2 or 3 horses instead of just one that's going ot be a game changer.

Quite a few changes should come about.
Gatherers and hunters will likely be able to pack more with multiple horses. Then, there are the creature controller types that can be mounted, and have a combat pet as well.
We'll have to see how much harder taming and controlling is in practice, given the changes to those systems, and the need for tools.

i bleeive each pet has a point system and theres a limit to the total points, eg 6 for a horse 4 for a wolf with a cap of 10. least thats how it was explained along time ago.
there are 2 types of mmo, imitators and innovaters.
Nice that the player and the pet are flag-linked, I could never understand how a Red player had a blue pet. Nice. About time being Red was made more difficult.
