They held off nexus and political jazz until more players reach cap, coming this month though.
The dungeon queues will be horrible until people learn warriors can tank and more lancers get to a high level.
As for battlegrounds, I shall wait patiently for those while leveling casually and not rushing to cap like most people. People make the games unfun and become boring by playing 10 hours a day.
I would have thought people had this one figured out by now? It's almost mandatory in a new MMO, unless you WANT to be bored.
Its been out in KOREA for already YEAR, how is that "new"?
Also it bombed in Korea because of content issue, im not sure how poeple didn't research this more.
Maybe you should take your own advice and do some reseach as well. It bomb only at launched because it was incomplete at the itme. Cap is lvl 50 and only 2 dungeons to run. Right now the cap is now lvl 60 and 5 dungeons with normal and hard mode. With nexus and political system coming later this month once people lvl up more for it. Also new as in everything after WoW has been pretty much race to cap, if you make any game that took time to cap people call it a grind fest and never play it.
Oh of course all this amazing endgame content is coming "soon". Once you reach level cap im sure it will be waiting for you!
Reality is you paid to beta test an unfinished game. Basically your grinding tedious PVE quests to get to endgame but theres no endgame, o snap.
Wait wait, just a minute. People are already at end game? Did it not just come out a week and a half ago? What happened to making it to end game after a few months. what a turn off.
On another note it seems like everyone loves the action combat, but thats pretty much it. Everything else that makes up a MMO fails.
And whats up with people make statements that everyone should have played the beta and know what is to come? Beta is for testing and whats done in Beta can be different then whats in the game. Alot of people choose not to Beta test for many reason. Beta testing in a sense is work. your job is to test the products and report issues. Issues that will be fixed (usually). Beta is not a "Demo". People need to realize that.
If you didn't notice first people got to max level the day after launch: 2nd May.
About 50 hours

Developers have said that they want to activate the current disabled end-game features before the end of the month when more people hit the cap.
Whiners gonna whine, it's sad that two GW2 fanboys are on talking nonsense.
Don't worry though, I'll come into the GW2 forums after release and laugh at how your game has no end game.
PvP wasn't enough for WAR, it isn't enough for GW2.
Wait.
When did the developers said that they will disable the end game features until the end of the month?
Link please
What are the people at max level supposed to do until then? repeat the 5 hard mode dungeons until they puke?

WAY less lol first 2 60 in my guild hit 60 around 12-3am on may 2nd(so aorudn 30hrs), than 3rd person hit 60 later that morning and 2 more hit 60 night time of may 2nd. They were grinding at once but 2 droped out at 58 after like 24hrs and 3rd person passed out in the showers XD And one more hit 60 on may 3rd. Yes they were crazy and its definitly not healthy but they wanted the prime title so i guess really their decision. Also they all play KTera and have mutli capped there so they knew exactly what to do for fastest lvling.

Ya poltical sytem and nexus is not out for like the first 3 weeks due to the fact they are kinda useless to be honest. Vanarch are monthly and only lvl 50 can do it so the election not going to start until the end of the month. Nexus is disabled because it is a end game event and while there are some hard core like me and my guidl who are 60 majorty of players are still at 4x-5x stage so nexus would be impossible due to the amount of player required and the player active. Its like trying to do a GW2 event that requires 50 people but you can only get 20 and you just end up getting wiped over and over and over would just irrate people more.
What are the people at max level supposed to do until then? repeat the 5 hard mode dungeons until they puke?
Well most people aren't max lvl yet lol anyoen who takes their time will take about 3-4 weeks to cap so by the time most people cap the politcal system and nexus be ready. For the people who rushed well its our fault, but i'm enjoying the hard modes, they take 1-2hrs to do for one and is pretty tiring i can do 2 back and to back before i have to take a break. Also i have summer class so honestly i can only get about max of 3-4 dungeons in a day, and its every exciting ^_^ Also GvG has been going on since start and really picked up as people get closer to cap. I'm looking forward to next week when my guild hold our first weekly tourment. =D
Also i think you quote the wrong person or something coz yoru response didn't match what you quoted XD
Can really just laugh at people playing no-life hardcore to the bone 24/7, getting through the content in a week than complaining about lack of content AND thinking their complaints are valid.
No they are not. In present time no company is able to provide content for such a stile of play. it is impossible because it takes too much time to create online e-worlds comapred to how fast people can consume it.
Just one area that can take days or weeks to create by a full team from dust up to a working entirety may than take about an hour for a speedy leveler to get through.
Ratio between input work and output fun is just to big.
Some people just wouldn't pass reality check.
Btw content wise Tera easily provides at least a few months of game time for a casual player.

Ya I do agree, i mean i race to end knowing whats there, and i did it for a reason because our guild going to start praticeing PvP and stuff so we need people 60 so we can have constant parties farming dungeon for gears and stuff so everyone is geared up and ready for GvG and nexus when its out. Most of my guilds know that, my guild had the first 6 people to hit lvl 60 and none of them have bitch about lack of content because they knew what they get themselve in to. I personally tried to rush as well but i fou nd out if i stop when it turn in to work rather than enjoyment, i mean no point in making yourself hate the game to get 1 or 2 more lvl in. It was my break from school to su mmer class last weeks o i had time to burn. but now s ummer class started i only get to run few dungeons a day which is really enjoyable considering how hard they are. Not having luck getting my loots though butwill get there Xd and omfg Balder Temple final boss is SOOOO freaken hard -.- wiped twice at 0.5% and 0.7% hp Q_Q
I kinda knew something was up when I would ask about endgame content in both area chat and guild chat. Every time I did so, I could hear crickets chirping.

Not if you make the content or game world engaging enough. Vanilla WoW took over 3 times as long to level (and thats just for the power gamers) than Rift but you didnt hear a lot of comlplaints about WoW's grindiness
Cause it was MOST peoples first mmorpg.
Wow grindy? That has me on the floor laughing so hard water is coming out of my nose. The power gamers were at lvl cap within the first week of release.

An open beta weekend, an early start, and about two days of playtime post-release, and my character is already level 37. I probably never once played over 4 hours at a given time. Even for someone who plays casually, the levels in TERA fly by way too fast considering the poor amount of endgame content. Keep in mind, however, that this game is already a year old in Korea. If EnMasse is holding back content currently implemented in KTERA, I'm not sure what the reasoning is.
WoW increased the speed of its leveling curve so that new players could more easily catch up to long time veterans. Running out of content wasn't an issue because if Blizzard left the game alone, new players would either never catch up to the vets or it would take them over a year to do so. Content was never an issue because the game is sitting at three released expansions and countless other live updates that provided additional zones, quests, dungeons, and raids. You have new MMORPGs coming out which match the leveling curve of a 7 year old game, and it just doesn't work. No new game has the depth of content available to sustain a playerbase that can reach the level cap in a month. The Developers simply do not have enough time to fix the numerous bugs that always pop up with the launch of a new game in addition to adding endgame content on a timely basis.
nexus system broken (so they had to deactivate it).
no battlegrounds.
terrible geargrind (crafted are BiS atm and it takes tons of material to level crafting).
dungeon matchmaker takes ages (1 hour queues).
just another asiagrinder. cu.
Tera is a grind? i find it just as easy to level as star wars. what do you lazy kids want? push a button and be max level 5 min after logging in? you already have WoW how much more dumbed down can MMOs get??

Thats the problem thought WoW set up the expection that game should allow you to cap quickly if you wanted it. It only worked for WoW after so many expandison but so many gamer hold up every new game to it and expect it to be like that as well. So any game release that took time to lvl and you couldn't catch up with you friend because it was new was called a grind fest, boring and never looked at so developer were forced to allow people to blaze through the lvl and content but than people hit end game and bitch bout nothing there.
Also it slows down a LOT later one. at 40+ i was playing like 12hrs+ a day and only got like 3 lvls and at 50+ was only getting about 2 lvl a day. Only way to lvl fast is to have pre-made 5 man groups and you know exactly what to do. If its your first time its pretty slow.

If you need a game with many many end game contents play a 5+ years old game for example EQ2 , LOTRO or WOW.
A new released game is difficult to have many end game things to do except you are a hardcore PvP fan.
TERA at this point needs IMO some secondary activities to do while questing or leveling more than new end game contents.
