A couple of weeks ago, maybe more, they took £14 subscription money from me, and £10 for a collectors update that I can't use due to the fact that I received a refund for the standard edition from my retailer, which of course resulted in my account being banned.


 


I've been trying to get in contact with them for weeks about the two refunds they owe me.. The Collectors update and the Subscription money that was taken..


I get the same, stupid, monotone responses on live chat, even when they say they'll contact me, they don't.


 


And I just got this email today.


 


"Hello,


 


We wish to inform you that, due to a technical fault, you have already been billed for your first TERA subscription period.


 


We wish to apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.


 


We have credited your account with an extra of ten days of playtime.


 


You will be billed the next time once all of your current playtime has run out. You can check your current playtime in the section “Manage Subscription” within the account management site.


 


We hope you will continue to enjoy your time in the world of TERA. Please contact us if you have any further questions.

So they added gametime to a banned account.. What?


 


I want my money back, now.

    How did they get your CC billing info?

    Did you preorder the game, set up an account for head start and then go get a refund?

    He preordered the game from a retailer, he then upgraded his account to collectors. He got a refund from the retailer as he decided he didnt want to play anymore so his account had a collectors upgrade with no normal game pack.  They then banned his account cause you can't just play on a collectors upgrade and he wants a refund.

    Effectively he fudged the poodle and blames the poodle for the fudging.

    Well they also gave him free game time for his banned account after all that.

    I've heard so many bad things about this company.  Glad we have EnMasse over here in the US.

    Wait a moment there...

    You say "a couple of week ago" when they took Your subscription money... but didn't the game launched at 1st May? That's hardly "couple of weeks" plus don't usually MMO charge the first subscripton after the initial 30 days you tend to get with game purchase? 

     

    As for CE upgrade, it's Your own fault. You bought the service, they don't have to refund you really. Doesn't matter you cancelled the actual game. The moment your account was upgraded to CE you used the service.

    yeah same thing here..i wondered why they gave me an extra 10 days,now i know,not really that bothered.i,m enjoying the game..if i had left and they did it i would be foaming at the mouth.edit..just checked myaccount..i got 37 days when i purchased.dont know why.

    I requested a refund for CE before I got a refund for the standard game, gamesplanet have a refund policy and I was running out of time waiting for frogster to reply.

     

    They took all the money off me BEFORE release.
