Like many people who have played MMOs for a significant number of years I have grown quite cynical towards the whole genre. I am burnt out I guess. While some people I know are enjoying themselves in one game or another, I find myself doing other things unrelated to gaming.
My current outlook makes it all the more suprising that I am actually enjoying myself in TERA. I am impressed. The game is fun. I am quite sure it has enough flaws that someone can put forth a long list of perfectley legitimate reasons to take a pass on the game, but I dig it. I am having a good time.
I thought I would take the time to post my thoughts to show support for the game. My assertion that the game is great may be way off, but what I have played so far has already been worth the money I paid for it.

Yeah I agree, it is a very fun game. A lot of people will look down on it for the grinding quests but you know, the combat really makes doing them a lot more fun than if it were just another tab target game.
I never had a problem with questing, personally I like grinding more but thats my taste. So all the quest seem the same to me. you can add more varity to it but some time to me seem more like a hassal than anything else.
Same here, dissapointed in the questing system , but still having a BLAST playing anyway ... pining to get home now and rip up some Baddies.
Glad you are enjoying it and I hope you continue to enjoy like I and so many others have, it's not too common that people who enjoy the game actually make threads, because we don't want tons of attention like many people on this site lol.
