There are times when one must ask themselves is it my passion that truly frightens you? Or your own?

I'm wanting to play too. I have work monday though, so I might get to play it for an hour or two tops.
I got the day off, not for this but just happened to work out this way.. hopefully I get time to login for a couple hours:)
I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. Personally, I'm contemplating whether or not to take the day off on Monday. I'm about 50/50.
Last game that done that to me was WoW before the first expansion.. GW2 is doing it all over again. Hopefully this time I will have a bit more self control.
I had nearly 1/3 of my entire year when that got released sucked away into that game. (I had somewhere in the region of about 100 days /played on one character alone after the first year or so)
Damb'it the world is turning to slow, hurry up will'ya!
I wish Anet would had said something sooner. I already made reservations to go out and get Shwarma with my friends on Monday. D<
I was just like you, dying for Monday to get here. Then I got a Torchlight II beta key. This game is so much fun that I might be able to survive til Monday.
Yeah this is the reason why we're going. I'm going to record us eating in silence too.

I like the idea of beta being like this, instead of being on 24/7 for months like in other MMO's.

Did you guys have the beta installed already?
I just preordered today and cant see how to download it. No email with link and cant log into forums to do it that way.
Hoping to get it going as im sure it wont be fast .. gotta be ready for tomorrow.
My beta has been installed since the last beta weekend.
This weekend I have received three updates for the GW2 files.
Can you log onto the forums? Mine just looks likes it's going to work then ends up back at the login screen with no fail message.

Same thing happened to me. Did pre-purchase today. Only got email that my account was registred (after I registred it).
Thanks to the link above I do have the client installed at least. (Kudos to ArenaNet for having lots of bandwith!)
Just to be clear, the stress test starts at 2 P.M. Monday EST, correct?

After much thought i dont think im gonna get involved with this. I know i should help stress test and i realy wanna play but after the beta weekend i remember how i felt when it was over. I just cant do that to my self again.
I wish the stress test was longer then like 8 hrs i am at work during the whole test
I hope you meant Pre-purchased. That is the only way to get into the beta. If you pre-purchased they will send you a key and info on how to create an account and link old GW1 account to it.
FYI: if you link your GW1 account to the GW2 account via the instructions given in the email, when its time to log into the GW2 site or GW2 game client you will use the email and password you use to log into GW1. Its something they dont make too clear when setting up the accounts.
