It only saved those settings because you did not remove all beta related files as instructed by Blizzard.
There are two directories other than the beta install folder containing Diablo 3 beta files, you more than likely uninstalled (which removed the program files entry for the game) but forgot to remove the other two directories, one located in documents and the other located in localdata.
lol too many damn choices this month and its only going to get worse as the summer moves on.
just be thankful we finally have crap to choose from that isnt wow or a wow clone.
Indeed. I've already paid for my choices, D3 and GW2, but I'm also keeping an eye on TSW (even though I would wait several months after release IF I did decide to purchase).
I think I can stay entertained with what I've chosen. Well....I hope so anyway.

Ah I see. Dont think I need to remove them now but did just in case. It also removed all the beta messages on the luncher and login screen =D
I'm just having issues installing the actual installer, it's sitting at updating setup files and has been for 15 mins, it will occasionally bounce to launching blizzard launcher but bump right back to updating setup files.

I got the game downloaded in 45 mins, and the game installed in 25mins. ( Also with no errors)
Im also in California and started the Install at 9:00AM PDT
Keep trying- One guy took 26 hours to finish it. ( Dial up is my guess)

I had the same issue until I realized I was installing the beta version.
All good now... just need to find something productive to do for 11 more hours
