    You could probably print that out on your computer. Then take a photo and upload it to your computer. If you had a lot of time on your hands.

    LOL. Why would anyone believe this? It looks like someone made it and printed it on a sheet of paper. I could make one right now that says, "Guild Wars 2 delayed until 2014." and make it look more convincing. This means NOTHING.

    Rather bored at work right now so could use the laughs considering how the forums would implode.

    1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical.

    2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself.

    3. Yes, Cpt. Obvious, we're not industry experts. Now run along and let the big people use the forums for their purpose.

    Kotaku already contacted Anet about it and received the usual reply that no release date has been anounced yet (http://kotaku.com/5910509/guild-wars-2-retail-ad-shows-june-28-release-date)

    Here's a statement from NCsoft: "We have not released an official launch date within 2012 as feedback from our closed and open marketing betas will help us determine an exact release date. We will release Guild Wars 2 when it is ready."
    Although it would indeed be a posibility it releases at that date (though I doubt it), it's a target release date at best and either way still very much subject to change therefor not anounced yet.

    There is no release date. That could be the date if they guessed right. Hell, it could be the date because Anet told them that's when it'll be released but right now, until you hear it from Anet, say it with me, there is no release date.     The other thing to note is that the 28th is a Thursday. That would be the first game I can remember that launched on a Thursday.

    GW1 was released April 23, 2003 a Wednesday.

    Aye, games in general launch on tuesday (states-side) and europe on fridays and usually international dates are tuesdays aswell (since most publishers are states-based)

    Guild Wars, is the first released campaign of Guild Wars. The release date was April 28, 2005.

    I say June 22 myself. It came to me in a dream...though I am not sure it it is the 3 day headstart for pre purchase or the actually release date. Dreams are uncertain like that sometimes.

     

    You may have noticed the picture is not complete. I am guessing it is from one of the commercial retailers.

    There is an official response to this on twitter, they claim there is still no hard release date and all the retailers are simply guessing.
