Glad I discovered this one

I passed over this one when it launched. Was on a extended break from MMO's.

I tried out the Rift-Lite demo and played to level 10 and that was enough to know I'd like this one.

In no particular order:

- love the random rift events that happen, can choose to participate or not, other games could learn from the ability to "join public group" function.

- I like the class system. I've got a Warrior mostly specced Paladin and a Rogue specced bard and ranger on the go.

- I like that I can play solo as I often having crazy playing times and often get interrupted.

- the macro system rocks, if I had not of stumbled upon an article explaining how to write effective macros for single target and area targets I probably would not have stuck with Rift. If you are thinking of trying this game please take the time to learn how to use the macro system, otherwise it will be a click fest.

- community seems pretty friendly, I've had a great time in every public group I've joined so far.

I'll see how long it can hold my attention but so far I'm really enjoying the game.
