Does any one know if this game is open for Alpha or beta testing if it is please let me know..... if it isn't ohh well

The game has not entered Alpha testing yet according to the latest Dev Blog. They have stated that they want to keep testing closed, but will likely have open beta weekends to allow people to check this game out.
Alpha testing in September. Closed beta.... to follow.
I really like the idea of an occasional open beta weekend. Even if you aren't accepted into closed beta (and most people won't be), you still get a chance to get your feet wet. And it gives FLS a chance to do some serious stress testing, without breaking the bank for long-term testing.
Guild Wars did that, right?

Yep, some the public (not a lot) will be invited into the alpha, and as Rusty said in his devlog, alpha will "gently segue into (closed) beta."
What they took into PAX was pre-alpha.

The recent post suggest that a beta is coming up but it worried me a LOT
Feta cheese is pronounced FETTA so it does NOT rhyme with the pronounciation of the second letter of the Greek alphabet (and second stage of game testing) BEETA (which is accepted pronounciation of B/Beta)
Or maybe they're going back to ancient greek diction?
Or maybe they just got a kid to do their press release

Either way, such a keenly looked forward to game does not need 'teasing' - people are more mature than that on this website at least - though this is aimed at the PRESS and they are the thickest bunch of retards in the world from my experience (world wide problem in all all mass media - idiots run it so they accept crap as long as folks buy it) - buy a crap game mag and they'll continue to sell you crap

Nobody really knows anything. Just check the main webpage Monday.
Usually if there's a NDA or something similar they would want someone 18 years old, but most of the times you can usually be 14 I believe.

Relax people. Beta won't be here for at least another month. Maybe, October, maybe November. We don't know, nor do the devs. A lot depends on the 'small public alpha', which should be starting very soon.
What we have on Monday (tomorrow) is beta signups. It's not like they can sift through thousands of applications in a matter of minutes.
So get your name in there tomorrow and be prepared to WAIT. And wait. And wait.
