    Yep EQ was no fun.. thats why its been running for 7 years. That comic was about as funny as Bush trying to read off a teleprompter.

    that truly is crap, and realy has nothign to do with everquest, you could jsut but any game name in there you dont like. haha i dont liek everquest tho so

    always my opion when i talk as this is me and my ideas if you disagree with something i dont want flaming plz. thank you. and Dont question a forum posters spelling you think we got spell check on this thing.

    Umm.. That is simply not true.  I played EQ until about 3 months into the first expansion, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.  This is coming from someone who started out playing UO, before trammel.  I rather play a PVP game than a non-PVP game, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy a strictly PVE game.  You can't categorize people strictly into "those who like PVP", and "those who don't like PVP".  The problem I have with EQ is that it started a domino effect of copy-cat games.  Since then, very few games have strayed from that norm.  And while EQ was fun, it was fun because there was no other game like it at the time.  Now all games are like EQ, hence, they're not fun.  I'm personally looking forward to Darkfall Online, as it strays from the norm.

    the point of a game like EQ flys right over Horsas' head.  He's just too dumb to grasp the concept that EQ was/is about comradery and cooperation and not about senseless ganking of newbies.

    I thought EQ was pretty fun.  I played on the Team PvP servers (good, neutral, evil) and the game was pretty damn fun.

    Hint: Even the people who hate EQ (and I don't care for it much; I don't play it) didn't like it.

    I played EQ 1 for almost  2 years constantly. It was a good game "then" because there was nothing else like it... now it and almost the entire genre it spawned are just boring in the extreme. The industry needs to take a turn somewhere because the EQ model has been done to complete death!

    That was..... a noble attempt at humor. EQ sucks, but so does that comic. I read a few others and none of them really made me roll over laughing. PvP online is probably the best web comic about gaming. Penny Arcade is a close second though.
