When the Pokemon MMORPG will be released or beta testing???

Ive found the Pokemon MMORPG Website http://mantis.desk.pl/PO/ and still under development. The Pokemon MMORPG is no way affiliated,sponsored, or endorsed by GAMEFREAK and/or Nintendo Inc. The developers are a fan project operating under FreeBSD license. The game is using the Pixel Shading Technology much like the Viewtiful Joe.
I cant wait for its beta testing!!!

Normally I dont like making negative comments about a game. But this is just scary, I mean really a Pokemon MMO this just goes back to my, is the MMO market getting flodded, post. Ok with that said I know alot of people like pokemon and I say gratz on getting another Pokemon game out there. Hopefuly it is done well and not rushed, because Pokemon fans are die-hards and deserve a good game
Would love to see Nintendo actually do like blizzard did and make a successful game into a mmorpg. Now that I would pay to play.

Poke'mon is a good RPG series and I too would love to see Nintendo make a MMORPG out of one of it's stronger titles.

I remember playing the original pokemon games when I was younger. They were awesome but sadly they turned it into a money making frachise, There are like 350+ pokemon out in the forms of clothes, toys candy, game, video games, etc....
Everytime it dies down they throw another 50-100 more pokemon out to keep it going.
It was a great idea but please let it die gracefuly and not milk it until everyone hates it please.

Pokemon was cool back in the day (in the 1990's but when the second season came on talking about love and care for your pokemon and alot of gay stuff, everone moved on to Dragon Ball Z. The games was good too but they kinda got dulled down when ruby and sapphire came out.
A pokemon MMORPG will not be easy whatsoever espically by a small group. You can't make a MMORPG from an RPG without adding a truckload of other stuff in it.

I love how almost everyone who hates pokemon are just following the trend of whats "cool" just like how its "cool" to hate dbz now.
First. I would love to play a Pokemon mmo(I still rember when the cards just came out and you could only buy two packs at a time at my local store, It was never matched buy anything not even yugioh ever ran out of cards)
But think of all the first think of all the probs my first two are :You weakeen a pokemon down and out of no were some buffoon throws a pokeballl at it catches it and runs off, also since you cant deny a battle think of what the stronger players could do wait out side pallet town and once the little noobs come out challenge them ???I mean a level 5 squirtle isnt going to stand a chance against anything over lv 20. Also how would the battles work???
IT would be cool if they were reall time battles though so faster pokemon would own.
And yes after the first season of pokemon it droped down from "F'n Awesome" to "Is this really pokemon?"I think the cobination of the show and ruby and saffie killed pokemon i mean i think they shoud of just amped up gold and silver my favortie pokemon games of all time... I mean comeone in ruby did they even have a Radio???

Silver and Gold were the best of the best in terms of Pokemon games IMO. It was the only one where the clock really did effect what was going on. If you played at Midnight it would be dark and only night-time pokemon would be out. I remember sneaking out my Gameboy during school just to get into an afternoon event. It was amazing but they didn't carry it over to the other games for some reason.
Also real time battles would be great, in the show most of the time attacks are dodged unlike in the games were most attacks always hit even the fastest of pokemon.
I got pokemon Red and a gameboy color for my 7th birthday and i played it for the rest of the day until 1:00am and then i woke up and played it somemore.pokemon games used to get you into the story but now there nothing I agree with you I also owned gold and beat it but i loved all its features
shiny pokemon, clock based events, day and night pokemon and everything esle including pokemon radio you could learn were to catch pokemon while walkin! But then ruby and saffire came out and everything stopped pokemon just got to obsurd. I would deffinly buy a amed version of gold and silver they should of ampe them instead of red and blue.

Actually I think most people just realized that pokemon was another fad that was made just to take their money. Just like the giga pet fad, the pog fad, and whatever other fad is going on today. Another reason people dont like pokemon is because many are like me. We grew out of the age group pokemon was intended for and realized that it was pretty lame and a huge waste of money.
I mean its one thing to see kids playing the video game or something, but you know they've got you addicted when you go out and buy pokemon lunch box's, bed sheets, or watch pokemon movies.
