Im in a guild of 300 people at least 20 on vent at all times...
The gaming is good...If you roll on a pvper server, it worth every penny.
This game is keeping me from drinking...So I give it a score of 9.0....
This will hold me over untill UO2 comes out or maybe Archage.
I can't see my self NOT playing this... With pvp and Guild V.S. Guild. Even when I'm at max level, I can't see my self NOT having FUN.
Sure there is questing..But the questing is easy...
It's kinda like building your char up in UO...But instead of macroing your char skillz to 100....You quest and kill mobs. Easzy enough to reach 60...then guild vs guild and pvp comes into play. (Mark down all the people that killed your char, when you were a newbie and get revenge! hehe)
P.S....
Internet 2 will be one huge Virtual Reality online world...Internet2.
Comeple freewil in VR babylon....As long as it does not seriously harm anyone in reality.
We are just in the Baby stages of this whole thing!

Yeah even my IRL buddy who is playing TERA as his first MMO is a level 60 Lancer as of a week ago and is in a guild on Basiliks Crag called Focus, they had 30/55 online last night when he was over and every member but two in the guild are level 60. Their vent is always at about 20-30 people as well, it's quite the hardcore guild, there's a lot of them out there already.
He's got +9 lance and is making me jealous, but that seems to prove that the combat can bring in some people. He wouldn't touch Rift, WoW or SWTOR no matter how much I asked.
Atleast I can just say I am taking in more of the game and enjoying the game more than him, as you can see by my screenshot thread posted in this board.
Anyways, glad you are liking the game and I hope you continue to have fun! Key to fun in this game IMO is making friends, solo can be painful but with friends the game is like a goldmine of goodies.
Yeah, I've been thinking about how awesome it would be if they took tera's gameplay and UO's fellucca ruleset, crafting, skill based-progression, etc.
UO and TERA need to have a baby.
Maybe Darkfall 2.0 will learn something from TERA.
If they learn one thing I hope its that they buy their next engine instead of make it lol.

Because people that chose to stay in UO vs going to EQ have a more valued opinion to others that made the same choice. AC vets are similar though usually not as valued because of the range of different play styles AC players had. It is nice however to have some AC experience as I honestly believe that was the best guild system ever created.
Edit: I mean really what other system has ever been implemented that created a community of nice people. Granted majority of them faked being kind and helpful but as long as they kept getting xp it was enough to promote a good community lol.

I am in Feral valley PvP and there are plenty of guilds and most use vent but it is tough to find one that has more than 2 or 3 people on vent at the same time, I dont know why people dont want to use vent or mumble
