Always thought the harder modes were aimed at multiplayer and not single player.
why? this isnt WoW
Yet it's a multiplayer game, with a maximum of four players at the same time. Perhaps Blizzard thought it would be nicer to enjoy the game with some friends and build up the game from that perspective?

I think the part that a few people are still missing is that you still need to kite with a barb when you are in a group with 3 other people. It's all over the Diablo 3 forums. Basically, don't bring a barb to inferno.
I was reading on the official forum and seems like inferno its impossible for melee classes and then this looks ridiculous lol.
Yep actually the game is oddly more difficult for melee classes then for ranged my friends and i noticed even on normal. When two groups of nightmare creatures are together at least. Then there are the strange ambushes just inside dungeon doors so when you enter you are instantly overwhelmed, i often wonder if that was intentional.
Playing a Witch Doctor and a Demon Hunter it makes for a slightly easier time to move around away from the enemies while attacking them with ranged abilities but the ones with Vortex are a pain.
That's not odd. I've always had a much easier time with ranged classes, in D2, and franky any MMO I've played. Kiting > standing there beating on stuff.
Inferno is not ment to be solo'ed, it is group content. Get a group and it plays out much differently. I already beat it on all modes, hit 60 and now hit lvl 22 on hardcore mode which is where I spend all my time now mythotically progressing with the speed of a tortoise which is much more fun than I have ever had, with that lurking feeling of perma death.

Always.
Not really true... I can beat bosses way more easily with my barbarian with just standing there and beating the hell out of him than on my witch doctor where I have to kite all the time or use my minions so he doesn't 4 hit me...

This is what I was trying to explain to everyone but to no avail...

This is Diablo, it's adjusted for any number of players (up to 4, that is). It's definitely meant to be soloable, they said that repeatedly. Having more players makes mobs tougher.
A solo player is most probably better off than a pub. A very organized group can be better than a solo. But not that significantly.

Have to kit inferno as a barb. Doesn't seem right.
This isn't a signature, you just think it is.
