City of Heroes is reaching out this Labor Day weekend to former players of their superhero game. Starting today and ending on Tuesday, old accounts wil be reactivated and old characters will be available. Whether you decide to re-subscribe to the game or not is your choice, but take advantage of this 5 day opportunity. 

Five Free Days to explore the dread forest of Croatoa and new Sonic and Archery power sets!

Labor Day just wouldn't be complete without some fun-filled gaming! This holiday, enjoy five free days of heroic hi-jinx and new Issue 5 content while getting ready for the highly anticipated sequel to City of Heroes®, City of Villains™ (see www.cityofvillains.com for details about the game). What a great way to end a super-human summer!

Just log into the game between 2pm (CDT) on Thursday, September 1st and 11:59pm (CDT) on Tuesday, September 6th and you will find your account reactivated FREE of charge!* Your hero characters will be waiting just as you left them the last time you played, ready to lead the charge against evil.

But hurry…this offer is only valid for a limited time, and once 11:59pm (CDT) hits Tuesday night, September 6th, your account will again be deactivated unless you choose to resubscribe.

    It's to bad I just cancelled my account because of i5 nerf'age. Lovely new content and such but they turned the controller into a defender/blaster hybrid that can't control more than 3 thugs now. Cheers to destroying the AT.

    I read that correctly i can play COH free of charge for 5 days even though my account is cancelled for over a year now ?

    I can make my hot chick/hero jump around for my amusement and check out the update. Thats cool that they would give me visiting privlages with my heroes. Maybe I'll kick some ass on the side.

    COH European Version - i bet its again another "ONLY US PLAYER" feature.

    I did a 2 week free trial a while back. Is that enough to qualify, or is it ex-paying customers only? And which servers does it apply to?

    Hoping for a quick answer, since the offer runs out in two days (I only found out today) ::::19::

    I received information about it in mail.. though I might be subscribed to their news or something, as I get some information mails once in a while.

    The "...for Former Subscribers" _might_ be emphasised, and if so I dubt free trials and beta's are included.

    Seems my router wont let the updater connnect to the outside, so I wont be trying it. Too much fuzz for such a short timeimage
