Did anyone get to try any of the activities?

in Guild Wars 2

Has anyone gotten to try the mini-game type things like "Target shootout" or "Bar brawl"?

 

I haven't, I'm curious as to rather or not they're implemented yet.

    Didn't know those were in the game. I did find the diving board in LA, that was pretty cool to find in a game like GW2.

    I would love to hear bar brawl stories. I always thought it would be cool if it started with an NPC insulting you and if you took it, no brawl and if you didn't take it, brawl begins.

    There was an event in the Charr area where you had to talk to Charr inside of a bar area and calm them down to stop them from brawling. Or you could exacerbate the issue and get them fighting.

    The mini-games were not active for the BWE, but they are supposed to be in for launch. Hopefully we will get a taste at dome point during beta, but it might be one of those things they are saving for launch.

    There are suppose to be 30+ mini games, but they were not in operation for the BWE or the Monday stress test. Maybe next BWE they will have a few working

    I found a game where you can place bets on cattle races in the 15-25 Charr zone.

    those activities were basically lil mini dynamic events so yea most of the ones you read were in.

    I found a training place in the human area, where you essentially had to block incoming attacks, or attack when there was an opening, or shoot/aim with rifles. Not sure if these are the minigames, but they sure were fun to go for a few rounds before venturing forward.

    I found the tavern where the bar brawls take place. There's an NPC right outside calling for "Bouncers" and when you got talk to her, she refers you to the bar keeper and when you go talk to him he says there is currently no opening for bouncers right now since there's no one actually getting drunk and going crazy but if there were and if you were to become a bouncer, you were allowed to use anything inside the bar and fists only. T'was hilarious.

    This is not a game.

    Nah, I've seen that place, that was just a Heart.
