AAAHHHHGG!!! I just want houses and pets. Not WoW not SWG not FFXI now not Ryzom. Please help me HOUSES AND PETS!!!

Real life sounds perfect for you.
You can get this job, and level up in it. Pretty soon you'll have enough money to buy a house!
After you get your house, you can buy a pet. Walking your pet and feeding him gives him experience, and soon he'll level up to a full blown doggy!
This game even includes children, and women! Women in a game you say? It's true! Real live women, and you don't even have to ask if they're actually girls.
After you have a child, it will turn into a grind though, leveling up those babies is so slow, about 1 level a year =( After he reaches lvl 6 or so, he can start going to school to prepare himself for getting a job and houses and pets and kids. Really, this game is just a circular grind that doesn't end, i wouldnt recommend it to the faint hearted.

Houses - The Realm Online, Final Fantasy XI, Dark Age of Camelot, Asheron's Call 1, Anarchy Online (I think), Star Wars Galaxies, Ultima Online.
Pets - Tons of games, but playable? Ultima Online, World of Warcraft (combat and non combat), Anarchy Onnline, Everquest, Everquest 2, Guild Wars, Dark Age of Camelot, Star Wars Galaxies, Ragnarok Online (some have unique abilities as well as the Huntress' Falcon) Lineage 2 (Quite decent, but if you don't rez your pet in 5 minutes, you lose him.. permanently)
My favorite game for pets so far would be DAoC, mainly because your pets retain some or all of thier special abilities and you can have some awesome pets in DAoC.
I will never forget bringing an Arachnoid Webslinger back to some newby zone once and having it rush at n00bs! ROFL!. Seeing them either run like hell or stry and attack it was pricelss
I must say, now you mention it... houses and pets are a pretty big attraction for me too.

FFXI has houses and pets. If you don't want it, you're going to have to be more specific as to why.

Thanks all for you posts. Yea Ive gotten the "try real life" crap befor and dont pay attension to it. I just love a good game that can balace the hard core killing with some peacful stress relieving stuff to do as well. As for why not SWG or FFXI is that ive played each for almost a year and down the line they just dont quite fill what really satisfys me. Im trying the free trial for DAoC today keep your fingers crossed!
And by the way im a chick so i dont really care about women.

Whats wrong with the pets and housing in swg?
You can do everything with your pets and funirize(furnirize?) your intire home...
Decorate is the word you wanted. :P
The game I've enjoyed most in decorating my house was SWG. With my old char, I had two houses, an ordinary looking one, the kind you'd expect from a law-abiding civilian, and a big safehouse in Lok. In the basement I'd store spice waiting for transit, had a "show room" with various exhibits, like rare weaponry, armors, etc, and a luxurious bedroom.
When I have time to play again, in October, I'll decorate a house as a detective office for my new char, that'll be fun
