    Seems possible, seeing as they are sitting on Update 1.8 now...so they're getting close to the big 'Version 2.0' now

    Version numbers dont work that way.  If 2.0 follows 1.9 its a coincidence.  In fact, Rift has 1.11 planned for late november.

     

    But its possible they realized that they cant afford to wait til 2013 for expansion and are pushing it up.

    Yay cloaks!!!!! But please no more levels. Add some new races. And you already removed 4 souls. Why not a new calling instead? Giving us reason to level again.

    I really just want them to add a new race, all the races in the game are just different coloured humans or elves... thats rifts biggest shortcoming in my opinion.

    I wouldn't be surprised to see an expansion around December this year.

    Iam almost 100% sure there will be a third faction coming and it respresent the new City + Zones and the Cloak, currently there is Guardians and Defiants. What can the third be?

    If they add a new faction, they need to add a new calling and a whole new zone progression for that faction from 1-50.   Like a whole new continent.  I'd be happy with that.  New Races too.

    Its more or less confirmed now, they trademarked "Storm Legion" and theres a "Rift: Storm Legion - Expansion Teaser" video on youtube, its private still, but all the hints are there.

    Sound's great to me.

    Possibilities of 3rd faction with a hub city of Port Tempest.

    6 new zones,1 of which would maybe be the 1-20 zone for the new faction.That would leave 5 zones for the 10 new lvls possibly :) New raids and stuff,oh yea!

    The way Trion pushes the content out we could see this by Sept/Oct.I mean isn't 1.8 live now?Which could put 1.9 out in July and the xpac being 2.0 in Sept/Oct maybe.

    I'm excited!
