En Masse Entertainment has posted a short blog article revealing a bit of information about what the team is working on for an update coming later this summer. Most notably, tank classes (Warrior & Lancer) will be receiving some love and two new instances will make their debut.
Many of you have shared your thoughts on TERA's two tank classes, the warrior and lancer. If you play either class, you'll appreciate having more flexibility on both offense and defense, so we're changing defensive skills to consume a new resource instead of MP. (And before you ask, yes—you'll be able to restore that third bar on the top of your screen quickly.) Warriors will gain three new skills, including the ability to block an attack with their twin swords. Lancers will get two new skills, including a skill that should significantly improve lancer mobility.

Isn't En masse reliant on what Blue Hole is working on? Seems to me all you have to do is watch what is coming out of the Korean version, which is not much from what I can see.
Good I could use some Lancer lub.
These things are already in the K tera version. The problem is that EME is not just doing a derect port of K Tera, which that just need to be doing seeing that K Tera have better sysetms with PvP and the infimey. Without this "new content" that is coming our Tera is a very unfinished game and is pretty much in a beta state at the moment. Maybe if there was more options for getting gear then just doing PvE content, and that PvE content was not as frustrating as it is right now with DPS check bosses that in my opinon have no place in an "action MMO" when skill and player communication should be if you win or loss not the amount of gear and DPS players can do.
What do you mean?
Most likely talking about hardmode enrage timers and his groups not being able to dps well enough to beat them.
In short, he can't beat PvE and no PvP gear therefore, TERA is unfinished game.
Also, this stuff is not live in the Korean version of Tera yet. They are actually on the same patch we are. The more you know, and knowing is horf the bortle.

No it's not. We're currently almost on the same patch as they're. KR don't have Argon part 2 update which include the queen, BG or the class updates.
Don't they Westerners finish content faster.
Sweet, my lancer is getting some lovin'.

Unfortunately Tera turned out to be just another hollow mmo with eye-candy and no depth or immersion. Seems more and more new mmo's are just putting out half-baked pew-pew mmo's that play more like a console game than any PC game.
Even Tera's future 'peek' shows they still only care about more combat and pvp content instead of the nature of what makes mmo's stand out from other video games.
Hopefully GW2 will have some kind of depth to it unlike all of the mmo's released in the past year.
This is what happens when TERA devs only rip off half the code, instead of all of it. With the main 5 devs getting prison time and massive fines, work might be delayed:)
Not surpirsing that the best parts of TERA were part of the code they were convicted of ripping - combat system and political system mechanics.
Welp, waiting on GW2 instead. Maybe a little of F2P Aion until then??
We're talking themepark MMO's here, theres plenty of story to immerse yourself into in TERA through story quests, same with GW2. TERA even offers a vanarchy system which has already added a whole other level of depth to the game and the vanarchs haven't been into power for a long time at all. TERA's selling points all delivered (unlike many MMO's I've played), and its main one- combat is highly different from any game I've played, and is a big part of what makes an MMO standout considering 90% of everyday tasks in MMO's require it. To me it sounds like your looking for a sandbox style immersion in the wrong area, or you just dont like the style of gameplay.
