Greetings all,
I'm trying to decide on a PC build, mainly for gaming purposes.
I don't really plan on overclocking and I'd like it to last for a good couple of years.
So after quite some researching I came up with this build,
but I still have some questions I want to throw to those people who are more experienced at this.
* the mainboard: Is it a good one for this build or is it overkill / crap?
* the graphic card: I know the 670 is a very good card, but what is the difference between the different "brands" ?
I chose here the Gigabyte one as I also chose a Gigabyte mainboard, but is it as good as,
for example, the Evga or the Gainward one ?
* the RAM memory: again I have no clue what the difference is between all those available modules.
* the power supply: is this a good unit I chose and is the 660 W enough or too much ?
My budget is not set in stone, but I'm aiming around the 1500 €, without monitor.
The build I have now is 1500 €, but I wouldn't say no to some cheaper and equally good parts
For example, the case I picked, I mainly chose as I like its looks, but I'm open to suggestions for maybe another one which is better and cheaper.
And can someone suggest a good 23" or 24" monitor?
Now, here is my build.

Thank you in advance for all advice.

The parts themselves look pretty good. In some cases, it's probably possible to get something equivalent for cheaper, but I didn't check. None of the prices you list look outlandish.
You might want to consider getting an aftermarket cooler on the processor. A Cooler Master Hyper 212 seems to be a pretty popular pick for something that is both cheap and pretty good.
As for your questions:
The motherboard is more in the "overkill" direction than the other direction.
Nvidia sells GK104 does to board partners and lets them build whatever card they want around the die. Among Nvidia board partners, I'd avoid Gainward and Palit unless they're substantially cheaper than the alternatives, and I'd avoid Sparkle entirely. The card you picked has a factory overclock and a premium cooler, so it should be a nice card.
For memory, you got basically the right specs.
The Seasonic X-series is excellent. When it launched, it was the best consumer power supplies on the market. It's not that anymore, but it's still very good. If you're not overclocking, then you'll likely never pull 300 W from the power supply, so a good quality 660 W power supply is plenty, or even overkill. If you later decide that you do want to overclock things a lot, then maybe you could pull 400 W from the power supply under a very heavy load, but the power supply is still plenty for that.
Ok, I'll be ordering this build then with the extra cooler you suggested.
I'll also think I'll switch the power supply then to something lower.
I was thinking about the "be quiet! STRAIGHT POWER CM BQT E9-CM-580W 80+Gold" for 91.17 € instead.
Thank you for your advice!
The Be Quiet Straight Power is the FSP Aurum Gold platform. It's reasonably nice, but not really high end. For about the same price, you could get this instead:
http://www1.hardwareversand.de/500+-+600+Watts/33060/Super-Flower+SF600P14XE+Golden+Green+80plus+gold+Modular.article
That's not as good as the Seasonic X-series either, but it's not that far shy of it--and a lot better than the Be Quiet Straight Power.
Or if you really want to go high end, you could try this:
http://www1.hardwareversand.de/500+-+600+Watts/43762/Super-Flower+SF550P14PE+Golden+King+Modular+80plus+Platinum+550W.article
That's the power supply that supplanted the Seasonic X-series as the best on the market for a while. Today, it's not as good as the Seasonic Platinum, but that doesn't go below 860 W.
If you wanted to save some money and just get something reasonably nice, you could try this:
http://www1.hardwareversand.de/500+-+600+Watts/49529/Antec+High+Current+Gamer+HCG-520.article
But you've got the budget to go higher end than that, so I'd do so.
Hmm, so which one you'd take then ?
The Seasonic, even if I'd never need the 660 W, or the Super Flower with 550 W ?
I'm just thinking about the energy bills, or won't that make any difference ?
