8 months WoW = 2 years Everquest ? SOE what!

I grow tried of the Courts of San Diego to get their act together and assign a court date for my meeting with SOE - ( please read Jestor's law in the Rumor room in Star Wars Galaxies forum for more info)

In the meantime , I have enjoyed WoW and just minutes ago I made lvl 60 now .I know that their are those ( who have no life and can stay up all night) that can lvl in days instead of months but that was ( and more then likely is) the problem with Everquest I ( and I am sure II) would take the casual user months and years to get to the higher levels. When Star Wars Galaxies came out I thought that SOE made a world that one could make a name for themselves instead of maxiumize the stats. When I did , I was banned for ALLEGED Forum misuse - thusly my suit against SOE for so many levels if will make the head of SOE legal head spin ( Hi Sheriff Andy!)

What it boils down to is this, Blizzard has learned though the stupid mistakes of -you know who- and have built a better mouse (player) trap. That is why WOW has over 4 million unique players and someone else can bearly break 1 million while screwing them with expasion that should have been free updates.

Love that Jestor while SOE in their ulitmate wisdom does not!

So, you filed a suit because they banned you from a game? A GAME! You practically lost nothing but a few hours of entertainment while searching for another game. If you actually win (which I'd highly doubt), that'd be the stupidest abuse of the legal system I've ever heard of.

It's sad to see people getting so frustrated about a game...

Prema-game banning for alleged forum was the stupidest abuse of customer service by a MMORPG company I've ever heard of. I have equaled the lost to have a novel ripped out of my hands. Thusly my frustation , I hope it never happen to you - thanks for your concern.

That correlation only works if you got the novel from a library and they somehow took THEIR property back and told you you couldn't use any other media they provide.

Unless of course SOE camme to your house and forcefully took your install CDs 0.0 You only lost access to a service they provide.

YOu broke a license agreement. Any particular legal rep for SOE only needs to know they have decided to disallow access from your account, not the specifics. Kinda like a cashier only knowing your credit card was refused but not why. The additional information is not necessary for them to do their job.

In most cases when you lose rights to services the company involved usually is not required to tell you why only that it happened. The only times they are required to tell you are with things that involved you rental, credit, arrest histories as far as i can remember off hand.

Then I said : Friend , I suffered a lose that to this day was not fully explained to me and I intend to challenge the TOS , the EULA or any other document that they can alter without notification but you and I sign to when we log into the game and get some answers .

I have a filing number but since this is small claims I don't think that it will be posted by the court on their web site unlike the larger civil cases . Thanks for your concern and asking but since you are not an involved party ( but interested thanks) it would be unwise to disclose any more information.

How So ? If you need a little more information about small claims in California

" If you and the person you are suing live in the same county, you will go to court no more than 40 days after you file your claim. If the defendant does not live in the county, in which the lawsuit was filed, you may have to wait up to 70 days after you file."

Although I filed in person in California , I currently live in MI I filed the first week of August so I still have time to wait for my court date .
