Soooo....a CGI TEASER, not a trailer? Interesting...

If it were a "trailer" for a GAME it would show gameplay footage.

If it were a "trailer" for a MOVIE it'd be a trailer.

    This is a teaser :|!

Wish they had just left aircraft carriers out of the game.  WWII Battleships were pretty much limited to offshore artillery because of them as the British found out with the Prince of Wales and the Repulse.

Uh... You need to read about all the night fights in the Solomans then Ozmodan and the intense ship to ship fighting between the destroyers and destroyer escorts in Leyte Gulf.

These "trailers" are so beyond useless.

the problem you will find is, air craft wiped out warships.  pearl harbor is a good example of what a few air craft carriers can do to a fleet of warships.

while there is no denying that warships as a whole are strong in groups or solo.  if this game follows the WoT formual.. its going to 15 vs 15 and a mass majority will be air craft carriers.. then it wont matter if you are a frigate or a dreadnaught you are screwed...  a slow ship just cant manuover or dodge dive bombers or torpedos... when Flak and AAs have to track multiple air craft.

ww1 battles were mostly warships. WW2 late war it became air cored. with battleships doing shore batteries.

From the looks of it, the game mechanics looks like "Battle Stations Midway" and "Battlestations Pacific" both reallllllly fun games, I can't wait for this to release...

Ah another good sounding game for them, cant wait for this one as well now :)

I rekkon they should merge all the games togeather.. imagine ships, planes and tanks in a massive battle..

Dont look for the game to play like historical naval battles. This is going to be an arcade ship-shooter along the lines of World of Tanks. In reality battleships were effective at very long range, but I bet in this game battleships will not be able to use that range at all. A bit like how German tanks were superior at range due to their great optics and guns, but this isnt viable in World of Tanks.

Will it be a fun game? I bet! I love World of Tanks even though I hate the majority of players due to their incredible lack of tactics.
